Introduction

Hi. I made this build mostly for my own reference, but I thought I'd publish it to see if anyone has any input. I do really well with this build, although I don't play much in the way of ranked games. I try to make my builds a nice balance of survivability and dps, which tends to work pretty well in solo 5v5 queue because you can't always rely on your teammates to sucessfully fulfill their role.

Runes

For runes I prefer the following:

Marks -- Armor Penetration
This one is fairly obvious, all of your damage output is physical, with the exception of Madred's Bloodrazor, if you buy one.

Seals -- MP5/Level
I use MP5/Level here because it pretty much ensures you will always have enough mana to use all of your abilities throughout the entire game.

Glyphs -- Magic Resist/Level
There really aren't a whole lot of choices here for good glyph slots, so I lean toward the defensive side, since Vayne already does a ton of DPS.

Masteries

For Masteries, I am really enjoying 23/6/1.

You pretty much grab all of the good stuff out of the Offense tree, which helps boost your damage output. The point in Archaic Knowledge is strictly to help with Bloodrazor.

Then, I grab some MR/Armor out of the Defense tree.

Lastly, a single point in Haste out of the Utility tree.

21/9/0 would probably work pretty well too, but I really like this one so far.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence might look a bit strange to some people. I see a lot of builds going Tumble > Silver Bolts > Condemn.

I prefer to go tumble > Condemn > Silver Bolts (although I do put a single point in at level 4)

My reasoning is this:

Early game you won't be making much use of Silver Bolts, because people don't have a lot of health. I find that maxing it later tends to be more useful.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells, I like to use Ghost and Flash.

Both of these abilities can be used offensively and defensively, so I enjoy the versatility. Exhaust is another good one that I've contemplated taking.

Items

Here I'll discuss the final item choices:

Eleisa's Miracle: This is one of the new tenacity items. I really like this item on Vayne because it allows you to start with a Regrowth Pendant, which keeps you healed up early game. You can then turn the Regrowth Pendant into a Philosopher's Stone, which allows you to keep spamming your abilities, and again keeping you healed up, all while bringing in some extra income. Finally, when you find you are getting CC'ed too much, you just turn it into this and you have a mini Merc Treads.

Berserker Greaves: I like these because of 2 reasons; They're cheap, and they give attack speed. I used to buy Merc Treads, but the Eleisa's Miracle has a lot better synergy in my opinion.

Trinity Force: I really love this item on Vayne. Actually, I love it on a ton of characters. It's a great item that boosts your character all around, all while being really easy to buy in small pieces. I generally buy in the order of Sheen (Extra burst while laning) > Phage > (I generally start feeling a bit squishy, and the HP helps) > Zeal (More damage output and better mobility). Occasionally I buy the Phage first, if I am feeling extra squishy.

Black Cleaver: This item synergizes with all of your abilities, more damage on your Q, more attack speed for your W, and more Armor Pen.

Banshees: At this point of the game, I've generally become the primary target and I can blow people up REALLY fast. I'm not a fan of glass cannon builds, and Banshee's is really a good bang for your buck.

Madred's Bloodrazor: Games always almost end before this point, but if I'm super fed, I like to buy one of these, because it has really good synergy with all of your skills. More attack speed for your W. A bit of dmg for your Q. A little bit of armor (which probably does next to nothing at this point of the game. Lets not forget the 4% hp blast on each attack, which would be the main reason to purchase this, since you're already attacking really fast.

Summary

I hope you enjoy my build. I really look forward to reading some comments/opinions/constructive criticism. Please refrain from telling me my build sucks without explaining why you think so. Thanks!
