A cool trick I've found with this item is that if you have teleport you can use an ability, chug all 3 of the pots before your mana refills and then teleport from fountain to have 30 seconds of free regen.

Edit: Nevermind, they fixed it. Stepping on fountain clears your potion timer.

Most jungler if not nearly all jungler won't go that deep into the utility tree it costs too much clearing time and you get very vulnerable to counter-jungler if you don't have the dmg/def masteries at the start tho~

But with supporter this item is some kind of nearly must-have with the biscuit and the free ward it can be affordet at the start but I didn't tryed it out yet in ranked - want to wait a bit more tho~

Most toplaner want to have other items than this tho cuz you really want the ms on most heroes e.g. Xin or the manareg like yorick cu he wont need the health that much cuz of his hilarious sustain... don't think it's that ok for anyone else than a support but it's still an awesome item!

I find this EXTREMELY useful on sustain lanes such as solo top [ie Singed] that really can require a lot of patience and work. I know that I can start top lane now with Flask+wards and virtually never have to leave lane. It's beautiful, also, how it's persistent pot presence. Having it until you replace it in your inventory with just a simple cost upfront is a great bonus. I also find that some junglers work very well with Flask when starting Machete with Greed.

it will be ok to start with tho as a support for sure but it wont heal more than 2 pots either and it depends on how often you have to back off to make it worthy. if you just return twice and then the laning phase ends it is quite wasted. But I think you want the sightstone item asap or the item what you make of the pendant? the one which merges with you if you level with it 4 times. Then sightstone and after the sightstones this item will be...meh

as a Support I think you want the GP5 asap so you will buy the fairy necklace thingy which costs 180 i think it was? about~
Then you want to have at least 2 wards against early ganks (i dont know how it is on pbe with the new jungle! idk if there will be still early ganks cuz they said that jungle will be harder)
So we will be at 330 gold + 225 we're at 555 gold

o wait....new masteries...start with a ward....+ that total biscuit.

idk q.q can anyone tell me what you can afford as a support to be effective at start with these new items. You want to have the fairy necklace thingy and a least 2 wards idk how a one minute ward is supposed to be "that" effective...
Is 4 minutes of warding enough until you go back or do we still need 6 minutes at least? With the new flask and pickpocket etc....idk never played pbe and if it is worth it and kinda competitive....PBE is well know for it's "skilled" player you know...

The flask does not upgrade further. It serve only as a basic. I personally find it quite useful. In PBE, I see normally everyone buy it since it allow you to sustain quite longer during laning phase.

Does anyone know if this scales like regular pots or is it always 100hp/40mp? As it stands most people don't need more than 225g worth of health/mana pots in a single match, so I'd imagine this item would be passed up all the time ... unless there was an incentive like HP/MP on it to make it useful after your first 1 or 2 times b. Maybe upgrade into an item that increases the duration of elixir or neutral camp buffs?
