Seems like a good early game item for those worried about staking items like Mejais as well. Lots of possibilities for casters unfold now with this. |

Decent AP, CDR, and mana regen, this is great for a lot of casters. Plus I don't find the active on DFG all tht great a lot, and this provides CDR so your extra AP is going to be put to use more often. |

It's has just a bit better stats compared to Deathfire Grasp, to compensate for the lack of the 30% hp damage (that's kinda of a big loss).  Share my torment
