For those of you who don't know, February is Black History Month in the U.S. I'd just like to take a moment to give a thanks to the many, many champs of color who fight everyday on the Fields of Justice. Champs like... um... like... hold on a sec, lemme just look at the champs roster and see... uh...
Jax! Not only does he fight in League of Legends, he also removes his costume to fight in the Mortal Kombat tourneys. Somehow, he still finds time to fish. Truly he is the Bo Jackson of videogames.
Also we have another black champ... lemme double check my notes here...
Karthus!
Few people know that Karthus was actually a middle school teacher in Baltimore MD before he became a skeleton guy. He still tutors underpriveledged youth in Baltimore's East Side.
I'm pretty sure there's more... um... how about... Shen? No, wait, he's totally a white dude in that surgeon skin. Um...
Mordekaiser!
Not only a member of the satanic muppet metal group GWAR, he also enjoys jousting in Renaissance Fairs and gardening organic vegetables in his back yard.
There was also that Voodoo guy who they cancelled and made into Mundo instead. So maybe Mundo was a black guy before he was a pinkish purple guy? I don't know. Whatever.
Um... if there are any champs I've missed who have every inch of skin covered, my hat goes off to you as well. I'm going to assume that you too are black because there's no way that out of, what, 92 champs now? There's no way that out of 92 champs not one is non-white/asian.

Necro, I don't disagree with you. I think that segregating history into "American History" and "African-American History" is essentially Jim Crowing an academic discipline. It's tragic and ironic that the politically correct have made "white history" and "black history" separate but equal.
I also agree no group of persons with a particular skin pigmentation deserve any special commendation, recognition, or censure.
But like nearly everything I write here (and elsewhere), this is satire. Pop a xanny and listen to some Yo-yo Ma.

I was just commenting on black history month in general and my opinion of it. I mean, does it also celebrate the black people that sold their brethrens to the western world? I never hear anything about that. They don't teach you about that in school. They were selling their own people. Everyone's done it. Rome is a great example :)

I guess black people deserve something for contributing to humanity - you know, like every other ****ing race did. Or maybe they deserve something for getting out of slavery - you know, like every other race of people have had to do.
