Views: 423 Soraka Kit Revamp

Well, this revamp came out of the blue...Soraka's kit is getting reworked in some sort of weird compromise between RIOT and The People.
> Q is now an AoE skillshot with a central Slow. It also heals Soraka upon hitting a champion if her normal heal is avalible. This is great since Soraka had pretty much no decent CCs without C Scepter.
> W is now spammable, but costs some mana PLUS DEALS 10% MAX HP TRUE DAMAGE TO SORAKA. This is the compromise I mentioned. Soraka is hailed as the "principal healer" among most of the healing champions, but while increasing her tag partner's survivability, she sacrifices a lot of her own which in itself makes her need to prioritize much like Taric's 20s burst heal.
> E no longer deals damage, which as a Full-AP Supporter, makes me sad. This means Soraka has roughly the same chess match burst as Zilean but with a smaller AP ratio. Instead, E creates a 1.5s Silence AoE (pretty creative, and yes, the first ever) that Roots units on expiration if they remain within. This makes Soraka stand out more in terms of CCs, as she now has stopping power.
> R is largely unchanged, but its power is extended by 50% on allies with less than 40% HP (as is W). Soraka's new passive gives her 70% movement when moving towards a low-HP ally.
So that's the new spread in a nutshell, and I rate low on it because this seems like Soraka changed from a burst strategist to a heal/CC strategist. Comments?
