Hey,
What's up guys? Galass here and today I want to ask you something about blogging itself and its features.
How important are views, likes and comments on your blog entries for you? Do you think they are more important than the information you deliver to the broad audience or do you think they do not matter and only the information is important?
I think the information is the most important point of blog-entries. Sometimes I see blogs with really no information in them and I ask myself the same question every time. Why are there such blogs? Most of them are not even for entertainment purposes. They are just what they are, blogs with no information, no entertainment and no message for the readers.
In fact, views are nearly as important as the information of the blog but there's still a little difference. If you post things like entertainment most people will react to it and at least read your blog, they will see it and they will give you a view on your blog-entry. But what does that mean for you? Someone has read your information and knows your thoughts about the topic of this certain blog-entry. It seems that this means nothing for you as author but for the readers. People have a base for a possible discussion about a new topic the no one may have mentioned yet.
The features which affect you as an author of a blog are the likes and the comments. Here you can see the criticism about your blog, the discussions that are mostly opened by the readers and also the support of your readers when talking about a very discussable topic.
My statistics so far without this entry:

It does not matter if you have a high rep or not to be displayed there so everyone can see the blogs that are posted regardless of the rep of the person.
also i dont know if rep is a factor right now but it might be. (as in higher rep people get more views?) if it is i think its a small factor at the moment.
Asking for readers opinion is pretty much the way to go, also the more interesting and more thought provoking topic the more views and comments your going to get. Don't spam blogs otherwise you wont get comments or views for that matter. I usually post things that pertain to what is important to me in my Lol life at the time and I get feedback.
That is nearly the same thing I do. I also post issues that concern my LoL career and my life on MOBAFire. But I still got only a few views on some blog entries. For instance, the entry about the Nidalee replay or about my guide didn't get that many views...
also, try linking your blog on mobafire to your tags both here and on other gaming sites, or even you fb/twitter/google+/whatever sites you post on that this could apply to.
it will help draw attention to the blog scene here.
And this is mainly a guide web-site before anything else, so you should make the blogs as a +, and nothing more, I do them for myself, and of course to get other peoples thoughts on a certain subject.
Keep that in mind friend
