So my friend and I got into this topic about which is scarier Demons or Ghosts. I say Ghosts cause you can't excorcise them very easily and they have no physical apperance or manifestation. he believes though that demons are worse because it's hard enough to rid of a demon. But in contrast it's easier to know what your fighting if it possesses something. Of course both can be banished ie priests for demons and ghostbusters for ya know ghosts. But after all the paranormal activity movies it seems that ghosts rack up more deaths than demons in that case.

Since we both have different idea's, you can never agree and never be right.
If we went to the core creation and reasoning behind Demon's and Ghost's, though, demons would win by far.
Why? Because ghost's are human and, no matter how much you try, you still have human feelings. You can never be truly evil, while on the other hand a demon is the manifestation of evil. It doesn't matter how its existence is created, or how it lives, its evil to its core.
Which doesn't necessarily mean its the demon itself is bad, yet being such a naturally evil being would create a desensitivity to what humans would consider "evil" things such as murder or whatever.
tl;dr **** ghosts, demons are the ****.
It doesn't matter how hard it is to rid yourself from the evil, but how scary they are, no?
Well, while a ghost can have some kind of scaryness, atleast they normally have a senseful backstory which explains their actions.
Also they are normally brought to peace by resolving the matter through which they were doomed to remain on earth.
Demons, on the other hand, are cackling, human-sacrificing, blood-drinking beast whose only joy is to watch us humans suffer.
They are masters in torture, and, while they can be fought in mortal combat, are significantly stronger than the average human, and often hunt in packs.
