Once again, can't sleep! UGH! My sleep insomnia has kicked back in. I'm tired. Extremely tired, but can't fall asleep!!! Plus,my arthritis is acting up in my knees/legs and wrist. When I was younger my mom took me to the doctor about these extreme growing pains. Come to find out, it's arthritis. It's so bad at times I cry my eyes out. It's a shame, but I try to soak myself in hot water to relieve it. I have to stop playing LoL after about to hours bc the arthritis or carpal tunnel starts acting up. It sucked in high school with taking notes, teachers never believed I had arthritis, taking notes after 30 minutes really set it off.
On a lighter note, for all you who are playing LoL,hope you're winning!!! Isn't it a new rotation today? I got caught up on all my signatures!!! :)
I might make a short tutorial,I don't know.
Anyways,my wrist is killing me!

Thank you, what kind of sports do you play?
Usually I do 3 workouts with weights, jogging twice a week and on and off I swim or row a little. A few years ago I did some fighting sports, but a car accident stopped me from continueing and I lost interest in it once I got back into sports...
The last 3 years I walked to work (4 miles to work and back home) as I think people just drive too much or use to many elevators etc...
My insomnia came more from a totally irregular lifestyle due to ever changing working shifts and often times 7 day working weeks, I guess. Trying to find my natural rhythm again at this moment as I quit my job and can enjoy a long vacation as I saved a lot of money in the last few years.
Been an insomniac for about 2 years now.. It's not easy. What makes it worse is these 2 years are my most important in school, I go to bed at about 2-3 in the morning and have to wake up at 8. Such a drain seriously.. Wish you all the best anyway (: I hear green tea is good before bed.
That sucks): I'm sorry
I feel you on the insomnia part. Even when I do a lot of sports, different meditational excercises and other stuff that should allow me to fall asleep, I either lie awake very tired or fall asleep just to wake up instantly after with a feeling of shock and a high heartbeat.
This alone can wear you down, but combined with your other problem that multiplies the bad experience.
I wish you best of luck getting used to living with it somehow and hopefully you will get a few good visits by the sandman in the next days!
Cheers and best wishes

You're a tiny thing. Also, even drinking/eating sugary or energy dense food as early as 3 hours before bedtime has been known to cause insomnia. your diet sounsd fine. honestly, you would do yourself a service to increase your caloric intake slightly. omg you so tiny.
People, not the poster or tinystar necessarily, dont' realize the sneaky foods that can spike insulin. sure, sugary treats will do it, but so will most grains. white bread gives you diabetes. but seriously....
It might be worth seeing a specialist. You might also have sleep apnea (apneia?). it's quite common, and it basically means that the sleep you are getting isn't truly restful. I used to have insomnia, then I changed my diet around and I sleep very well. Everyone is different. Also, I was on some medications. Are you on medication?
Nope no meds,oh my chocolate covered peanuts are my 3 o'clock snack. Lol,that'swhy my name is tinystar bc im tiny XD

i'd bet money it's your diet. carbohydrates and suger and caffeine before bed can give you insomnia. you'd be shocked at all the ailments you can cure with just a change in diet. I haven't had a soft drink in 6 months and I feel fantastic. I eat about 25g of sugar a day, tops. My salt intake is on the high side, but I drink over a gallon of water a day, so it's k.
I can help, I consider myself an amateur dietician. If you go about your normal life for the next week and give me a food log, I think I can help you.
Also, saying you have 'sleep insomnia' is like saying you have a 'brain migraine'
grammar nazi out.
I eat Special K cereal with a banana, lunch is grilled chicken with some type of veggie, for a snack 10 chocolate covered peanuts, and dinner is always a little different each day. I'm 4ft 8in,19,and weigh 94 pounds,oh and I drink a gallon a water a day as well. I walk 30 minutes a day. Idk if that helps any lol.
Do not think that it could be diet in my case, as I worked in the fitness industry for many years, a few of them as trainer, and keep track of my sport and eating habbits. But I do not know the blog writers eating habbits...
