I don't ever waste my mana on minions or too harass unless I can set myself up for a solid gank. If you are someone who likes too mash buttons feel free to swap out buying the black cleaver and delay getting wriggles lantern to pick up Manamune instead, however I don't seem to have many problems unless team fights turn into skirmishes along the entire map.
With blue though it's very easy to lane/teamfight sustainably. If you have a jungler ask politely at about level 10 if you can pinch blue or even risk stealing the other teams blue buff.

Also note, this is an early game guide for mid.
Reading through this I thought you'd pick up on that.

Great job on the guide :) Giving this a thumbs up...I do not think it will have too much mana problems due to the mana regen you picked up from the utility tree as well as the bonus mana from sheen.

However that all depends on the player's playstyle and skill.
