I would suggest splitting yellows into mp regen and AP, prob would suit spamming fang better.

Good guide! Just wondering, did you use a camera for those screenshots? Because there is a button that does that....

I strongly prefer Deathfire Grasp over Tear of the Goddess, otherwise great item picks. Check out my Cass build when you get a chance. (its a little messy now as I am constantly trying different niche items like Shurelya's Battlesong, nice that you mention it)

@Asterisk-CGY: TheWorldAsunder has some good points. And you're right, Cass has to wait until the enemy is already engaged. What I do is wait for the opponent or my team to throw the first hit, then immediately I'll throw a Q or W and start spamming. Or if I have my R, then I usually start with that. If someone tries to come up from behind, usually the enemies in front of us are already dead or near dead, but if not then I just use Flash.

@Drahque: Thanks for that suggestion! I used to play conservatively so I didn't pay attention to that, but I've edited the masteries so that you get the Flash upgrade as well as increased maximum mana.

Why not upgrade flash for 15 seconds less cooldown, so it's just 180 seconds (3 minutes), rather than getting thoose 85 gold from Greed, which gives you an extra ward after 42 minutes of gameplay. Quite useless.

Well my question is what to do during team fights? I find if I hang back I just leave myself open to a flank attack, but hanging in means whatever mess gets thrown in first gets to me first. I feel she definitely needs to show up second to the fight after something initial goes down, but it feels like anyone that even glances at her can drop her before something happens.

This is where the last item left open comes in. If you need more survivability, grab some armor or MR depending on the other team makeup. Banshee's veil is great for MR, and ATM frozen heart is great for armor, considering the CDR it gives on the side, as well as the AS debuff. Though, after the patch, I'm betting the new defensive version of Zhonya's will probably be the best option for some survivability.

As far as what you should do in team fights, throw your poisons in, and spam that fang. ult them if it's up, but be very map aware. If someone is MIA, and should be alive on their team, you can keep ult to petrify them when they try to run in.

This may sound like a repeat of kuraiso but on the damage end.... but ive found myself getting mejais after kage and calling in ganks for my lane in order to start the stacks early ill agree it does put you out on the squishy side for early mid game but if you can get 5-8 stacks in this time then i find it really just pays off because its like your buying a 2k+ item but only paying 1k for it.

This may be too hard for casuals to use but if you are good at fishing in enemies to either your tower or just into overextension then i find this highly effective for capitolizing on them.

BTW i did 1v2 with trist and sion on the enemy team today it was epic lulz to see them dieing in the duriation of my stun cause of a fail tower dive. (My team members were shocked they thought i would get rolled solo lane.)

@Fell: No problem! Glad to see others having success with this guide.

@kuraiso: Sorry I don't know why I didn't realize this before, but you're right. For ability users, Will of the Ancients will benefit you better than Hextech Gunblade. It's way cheaper and it helps your allies, while still having high AP and spell vamp properties.

@Jebus McAzn: I have to disagree with you on getting Kage's Lucky Pick right after Tear of the Goddess. It takes too long to get to Rylai's even with the extra income. You make yourself vulnerable and weak by having low health and low AP for an extended period of time while your enemies are getting items that build up their attack/defense.

It's better to just get your starting item, boots, and Rylai's as your first three items. If you need more gold, just take a lane and farm minions. You should be able to wipe out a group of minions with just one or two Q's or a Q > W's by the time you get Rylai's.

I use this build all the time its definitely for the more skilled cass players who can turn in run the second they get targeted or can petrify two champs at once poison, fang and move out before dieing. At lvl 6 i can take on two champs at once if my ult hits right and take one or possibly even both out.

Also im very glad that you added that tid bit about mejias and blasting wand it really is a great for this build since mejias just accents the skill for this character and while blasting wand really ups your dmg as cass for farming early on and getting 20 stacks just pays off greatly with her.

Thanks for the guide!!
