Very nice guide! Totally agree with jhoihjoi.

Constructive Criticism:

1) I'd suggest removing "repeated" content from your mastery tree explanations. If you've explained Awareness in the first set, there's no reason to explain it again etc etc.

2) Is there a reason why the tips and tricks of each ability isn't underneath the ability in the ability explanation section?

Guide looks fantastic. It's a shame it's so "low" on the ladder. Have you thought about resubmitting it and just PMing everyone who has upvoted? You know I'd upvote it again :)

Wow this is an absolutely wonderful guide. I will probably end up using this very build over my usual one when I'm the only tanky DPS. This was extremely well written well thought out and covers all bases. +1 from me ^.^

Constructive criticism:
  • Not a big fan of HP quints.

Compliments:
  • This guide is better than my own guide , you seem to have lots of information and thus I don't understand why this is being trolled....

Okay that was the shortest review ever but I got a short time span and you pretty much fixed everything so I guess I your fine. Good job and keep this guide up!

@PsiGuard: Nope, you hadn't voted yet. However, I am now slightly horrified. You are my twentieth vote, leaving me bare and open to the anonymous masses to vote as they please. D: Let's hope my guide is up to snuff. >_<

@Jhoi: I consider it Bee Swarm (since it's based loosely on my last name), but the short form Bees is actually preferable (since it's an actual nickname of mine, lol). And I will certainly keep you in mind if I'm looking for another sig. Yours are all very nice, after all. :)

haha, no problem, Bees :) (I always read your name as Bees Warm) I'm glad you liked it. If you want anything changed, or a signature made too (or whatever), just shoot me a comment in my signature shop ^^

Yes, you'd be able to tell which other guide I meant ^^

@PsiGuard: PM sent regarding your comment. You kinda beat me to a lot of things I was already fixing at the time of your comment, but for the rest, I've added in most, if not all, of the suggestions you've made to the guide. Thanks!

@Jhoijhoi: HOLY **** THANK YOU FOR THE BANNER. Totally planted that right into the guide. The title looks so much prettier in that text. XD And I've noticed the guide that you're talking about, I think. It's the only one I can see you comparing mine to, at least. It's definitely a well-written guide, and I can see why it impressed you. (I disagree with some of the content, but that's normal for different guides, I think.)

Honestly, I'm just thrilled that you think it deserves as much as a rec. I'm still working on it, so take your time with it. (Yay banner!)

I want to +rec your guide, but there is one other Riven guide that is on par with yours in every single way, and I don't know if it'd be fair to give only you a rec, when I can see two guides that both deserve recs.

I'm sorry, but you'll just have to wait while I decide what I'll do about it :)

In the meantime, if you want it, I thought this could maybe help ease the time:

You could add a lot more alternative runes.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist > Greater Glyph of Magic Resist unless you're laning against a magic damage dealer. They're always more powerful if you're jungling.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation and Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage are both very powerful choices for laning.

This may be a long shot, but Greater Seal of Regeneration or Greater Quintessence of Regeneration might actually work with Riven, and maybe allow you to start with something besides regrowth. I would probably go for Doran's Shield, but Doran's Blade or Longsword+pot might work too.

Are you absolutely sure that a few armor pen marks (maybe 4-6) wouldn't improve your jungle? I know Riven has great AD scaling, but I'm not sure if Sunder is going to cut it.

Another option of two for mastery trees might be a good idea. Ever tried using the defensive tree? Could you test a hybrid setup like 15/0/15?

when Tryndamere is about to pop his ult, and you stun him as soon as the player tries to activate it, he might not notice it didn't trigger and die with an ult off cooldown.

This is actually wrong. Undying Rage can be activated at any time, even when silenced, stunned or suppressed. You will never interrupt this spell. Perhaps Chronoshift would be a better example.

I would classify Quicksilver Sash as a defensive item, and Zeke's Harbinger as a utility item (since it sucks if you're the only one using it).

I can't believe you don't have Force of Nature in there yet....

Executioner's Calling would be a good situational item to add.

Your jungle section could really use a video. Riven is one of the more complicated junglers, and it would be supremely useful to be able to see her in action instead of trying to translate your textual description in-game. I think a video would help a lot of people more than your description ever could. Keep the description though.

Even if a champ doesn't run from you, the increased damage and range of Ki Burst and Broken Wings.

I think you cut yourself off mid-sentence here.

I think the biggest thing I disagree with is your itemization. A lot of the items you use are pretty good picks on Riven, but I'm not a fan of the combinations or the item sequence. I think you don't build enough health to warrant Atma's Impaler. I think you don't build enough magic resistance to really deal with AP carries. I think building a Philosopher's Stone on a manaless champion is close to trolling. I think Youmuu's Ghostblade is a fantastic item that you're completely neglecting.

I realize I'm probably not going to convince you to change your build, which is why I didn't go into a huge in-depth criticism of it. If at some point you aren't satisfied with your build, I would encourage you to seek a more solid itemization. That's pretty much all I have to say about it.

Overall, this is a very detailed, very in-depth guide with good use of formatting. Even though I love detail, some sections are quite long without any visuals or efficient organization (like lists) to break it up. It would be great if you could condense some of your longer rants or possibly add in supplementary visuals like images or videos to help liven up your guide a bit. Your use of coding and paragraphing is pretty good (which is why it wasn't terrible to read, unlike real walls of text), but I think there's some room for improvement still in your formatting and expression.

I hope you can take away something useful from this review.

+1 to counter the downvotes. Keep your chin up. It's better to release a champion guide four or so weeks after they are released, once you and everyone knows the best way to play the champion :)

I'm impressed by your replies to the comments :) Keep up the good work, and maybe consider archiving this guide and making a new one to release solely for Dominion.

Riven in Dominion is AMAZING. ^^

You did....
