Though this item was nerfed long ago, its still good even when it is underused,

Also, trynda now only has an extra 5 seconds to live, after that he dies with this item XD

As per the season 3 stats this item now counters lifesteal items (goodbye enemy ad carry armed to the hilt with bloodthirster's et al) and regen like sion's ult, voli's passive, mundo's ult and warwick's Q. Up against a team with heavy life regain I recommend rushing this.

There is now virtually no difference between this and Wicked Hatchet since the Life Steal was removed from it. Same passive, 5 AD, 3% crit strike, and 55 gold...alongside the obvious build path difference of Avarice Blade and Agility Cloak.

I don't buy this, and I don't see anyone buying it.

using this as an ad carry is very effective when laning agaist a support like soraka. Very nice item if you use it properly.

it's magic, not true dmg.

Turns out True Damage is the only one it can't be. I've had it proccing 2'3 and 3's today, depending on my target. Still don't know which damage type it is between physical or magic, though.

It is true damage, there is a defensive skill mastery that reduces ALL incoming damage, even true damage.

Critplank loves this item. Nice cheap crit chance + lifesteal for epic Q's and the healing reduction is back.

IMO this is an under rated item. I take this when (mind you I am NOT ranked jut play blind pick or normal draft)
1) No/lack of Ignite on the team
2) Mundo's on the board
3) They have more than one heal.
4) Laning against someone with heal or ridiculous regain.

Yes, it does a pitiful amount of true damage over time. But this is so when your about to burst down that guy with heal, or about to receive a heal, XCall him and it will HALF his heal. This is the OH SNAPZ WE CANT STOP MUNDO! (or someone with ridiculous health regain)

For the price, the Lifesteal and crit is ... a steal (ba da ting!)
