I set up ganks that I normally wouldn't be able to get off. so lets say you want to gank bot then go around their blue buff and place a box behind their turret so when your gank fails (like you knew it would of) they will run into it. Try it and let me know if it works out :D
1.5% damage isn't much. If you would deal 500 it would instead do 508. Your choice but I really do not like Havoc.
1: I don't take defensive items because I open with my clone in team fights and if I can't, then I open when the AP has used his burst.
2: I would get boots before wriggle's because its just better for ganking than lifesteal.. but like you said you could probably get both (as iv'e said in the guide).
3: I max out boxes because iv'e seen many pros do this and tried for myself and found that its just as good in many situations. You could go with either one tho.
4: Once you get ghostblade on Shaco and try it out I dont think you would think the same way lol.
Thank you for posting :)
Yeah I see what you did there and yeah i was buying shoes before wriggles too but i noticed that the ward next to more dmg and armor is better than boots because you have your Deceive for mobility. The ward is awesome so early because I also noticed that when I play Shaco I kinda force the enemy jungler to gank more often and if you cant kill top or mid its likely that the enemy jungler will come for a ''counter-gank'' + I think after the new jungle patch, most junglers will gank at lvl 3, when you (if did 2 successful ganks) will have wriggles already and be able to ward.
How do you play with your boxes? Because I still think maxing them before Deceive is weird for an AD Shaco. For example I try to put a box behind the enemy but they most likely will look for another route or I use them as wards for example if Im pushing, I make sure I have several escape routes or at least kind of an alarm system. Also if I'm fighting with an enemy a box will them make go away or they are fed enough to ignore it but I simply can't see them doing this amount of damage to take it before the great additional bonus damage from Deceive :S
I did try out ghostblade and theres no argument about beeing it a bad item but imo an item for survivability is much stronger for you in total with this build itself. Getting it instead of your other items wouldn't be that good either.
Noticed one more thing in your masteries because you took Lethality over Havoc. You will have 95% crit with this and 85 without but with Havoc you do 1.5% more damage in total.
Like I said none the less nice build, im not a super duper pro or whatever just interested why this here and that there ;D
Pretty standard Shaco build but nicley put together, this is more or less how I play shaco accept I start at blue, but your starting at red set up is intruging, will have to try it next game, anyway +1 from me
Have played several matches with this build and came out 6 wins out of 10 but with some slight changes, mainly maxing decieve before boxes. Never went red buff 1st but it seems to work and I enjoy the little less worry of being ganked starting off also it puts you in a nice position to interupt the other teams jungler if you feel so enclined (leave your 2 boxes at golems, harres there blue then resume route)
There are deffinity more in-depth builds which cover more situations but as a quick guide works rather well. I agree the lack off cc and magic resist in the items build can be troublesome, but for me item builds on these guides should only be seen as rough guidlines, seeing as depending on who your playing against especially seeing as in public games (non ranked) most people auto-lock who they like anyway so half the time your playing a poorly structured team ( this build against a team with no tank = gg ;)
not a very well writin guid, in ur pros and cons u got a few wrong points... for one shaco isnt banned nearly every game in ranked...
2 having "op champ" in pros isnt exactly a point, explain what hes good at and what he lacks, not your thoughts on him..
If you read more into the guide you'll notice I give a lot of Shaco points lol, everyone calls him OP so its just a gag I posted and from MY experience he is almost always banned. Wish I were you so I could pick him.
The guide was okay. The build is going to get you killed in serious play. I'd suggest you go back into your guide and correct all the times you said "you're" when you meant to say "your".
My friend proof read my guide and told me to say you're instead of your lol :P im not very good at spelling in english.
Good guide bad build? You wont have a lot of success with this build in itself because
a) no cc counter
b) ap burst bring you down quick
c) not enough health to cover the lacking MR
You go too much damage orientated. Also you get Wriggles before finishing your shoes because of the ward and the damage (by the time you have wriggles and lvl 1 boots no one else will have them, most likely).
I dont think maxing out your Boxes before deceive is a good idea. This is an AD build and the longer invisibility > a bit more damage from boxes -> ad shaco doe not build traps!
Also with your masteries/runes you dont need ghostblade because 1. at a certain point more dmg > more ArPen and ghost > ghostblade active

Tried to give you some hints here I hope you dont feel attacked or smth just some things you should try out. Look at my Shaco guide if you want very detailed you can get some inspiration there maybe (its not done yet).
