Great Guide! It's always nice to see different ways I can play my favourite champion. Especially when you find it in the guides that aren't in the top 10 spots or so.
I really like all the builds you have. The first one looks like a really nice tank with some support build. The second build is a more supportive then tank but it is still a great. The third build is really exciting I tried dominion once as Leona when I used to build her full tank and it was just horrible, but now I know of a decent way to play her in it so now I don't always have to do Summoner's Rift all the time.
Thanks! My Leona guide is probably the best thing I have on here other than The Real Summoner's Code, so I'm glad to see it go up a little in the polls.
For build 1, lately I tend to either keep warding at the end, or to get Banshee's Veil instead of Frozen Mallet. Build 2 I like ok, but I don't play it anymore. It might require less aggressive play or something.
And for Dominion... well, I guess either queue with friends, or check what I have for Sejuani (Actually, my first comment on that page contains changes I'm considering - Doran's Shield x2 and boots to start). I find that it's so much easier to solo queue and roam with Sej in Dominion (than Leona) because she's so mobile. It's like jungling, but without being burdened with Smite and without getting beaten half to death by the wolf camp at level 2. X-D

I had a reread of your guide again. It is entirely possible to jungle successfully as her ganks are pretty lethal.
Jungling with Leona is done defensively though.
Maybe... but I'd be the last one to suggest it, for two reasons. One, I don't jungle myself, so I can't prove that it actually can be made to work.
Second, I'd be the last one to tell them to put a slow jungler with good ganks in place of a fast jungler with good ganks.
Ok, three. Even if it does work, needing your team to pay attention and counter-gank as needed might be asking for too much unless it's a pre-made. (One time I roamed with Janna in a solo queue and our team's hilariously good map awareness caused their Warwick to get ganked all game long. I had no idea what I was doing, but I just CVed when they asked for it and tried not to feed. X-D) (Then again, if it's not pre-made, no one cares about the meta and you can go without support or you can support-tank and no one cares)

For build 2 I'd probably replace the Soul Shroud with Aegis of the Legion. It does work but you're so much squishier. That's just my observation when I did use it myself.
Build 2 has *both* of those items, and it's a bit of a toss-up to me when you take which, honestly. I put them in that order to rush CDR.
As far as squishiness goes, Eclipse + health items is enough for me, making me feel ok about taking no resists until mid-game, but a really talented enemy might get you during your downtime.
I do agree that it doesn't matter when you're tanking damage or CC but at the same time you want to be disabling their carry/protecting yours. Those few seconds you are CC'd can actually turn the tides of a team fight. This is from my experience though.

Reason why I say it's "wasted" is because of blue buff or blue elixers. You are sitting on 8.1% + 30% CDR. I feel it's a better trade off for that tenacity while popping blues rather than CDR. Don't get me wrong, I love max CDR but sometimes getting feared for 3+ seconds isn't the greatest feel lol.
You will probably really benefit from GP5/10 seals for build 2. I've been playing with 1 GP5/10 and I feel you won't have enough at all to build your items. 2 GP5/10 seems perfect as you won't need to farm as much. With the seals and correct masteries you get a bonus GP7/10... stack those with either one or two GP5/10 and you will scale extremely well into mid and end game.
If a game hits 40 minutes, you roughly have the same amount of gold your AD/AP carry has with 200 CS. The trade off is that you are weaker at the start.
The real worst feeling is when your team abandons the tank at the wrong time. Getting CCed as a tank isn't as big a deal as getting CCed as Caitlyn, so I try to rush other things cheap and fast. You shouldn't really need tenacity just to stay alive, but if you need it to land your skills soon enough to make the difference you need to make, then that's another story.
As far as CDR goes, I never have mana trouble with either of these two builds, and there are usually other champs on the team who would make better use of the blue buff. I'd prefer to use Sunlight to help someone else get the blue buff and rush cheap CDR.
I'll experiment with GP10 seals when I have IP for it. X-P Maybe Build 2 would also benefit from Heal, but I'm quite used to running Flash + Exhaust.

Personally I don't think the Kindlegem is needed as you're using Enlightenment on your skill tree. I'd either get the Ionian Boots of Lucidity or Kindlegem, not both. I feel Mercury's Treads are a far better choice for the tencity and a bit of magic resist. You don't want to be wasting CDR when you hit end game.
Personally I feel the health regen seals you're running aren't all that flash. Late game you probably zip back to base to regen, although if you do wonder alot it can help you sustain.
Otherwise fairly solid build! +1
First, thanks for the +1.
I don't see how it's wasted CDR since the two classic builds both just barely reach 40%. YMMV, but when I started rushing CDR and maxing it (or nearly maxing it) mid-game, I found it making a bigger difference than anything else. Usually when I'm tanking, I just try to take CC as a compliment.
I like the health regen because it's a bit forgiving. If you have some other suggestion, I would consider it. Build 2, for example, might do better with the new GP10 seals, but I'm not certain.

The other thing is that she can't count on making a ton of gold, so getting 40% CDR with Ionians, runes, masteries, and a Reverie means 35% early (thanks to Kindlegem), and that you can upgrade to 40% whenever you feel like it or whenever the game's almost over. The second build approaches CDR about the same way.
Anyway, other options like Glacial Shroud exist, but I prefer rushing CDR and stacking health early, which leads naturally to Ionians + Kindlegem.
I edited the items. Ionian Boots of Lucidity are way too good. I don't know why I insisted on Mercury's Treads for so long... ok, they're great, but ZOMG, Leona with 30% CDR mid-game is like whoa.
I've actually been working in Mercury's Treads into my build a lot more often, but I haven't been playing Leona lately as I've been too busy with jungling as of lately.
