Before I get started, I would like to point out that this (as made obvious by the title) is a response to a post I read and thoroughly enjoyed by a user named "Diesel". I suggest that you read this guys post before mine, as it will not make a lot of sense otherwise.

Original Post HERE!

Anyway, the post was talking about how Riot should stop focusing on shoveling out a new champion every 2 weeks, and how Riot should perhaps focus a little bit more on overall bug fixes and perhaps balancing, or even removing old champions.

The first thing I would like to talk about is when he mentioned removing old or unused champions. I don't find this action to be very sensible at all from Riot's stand-point and an average player's stand-point as well. I know plenty of people in the League of Legends community who have invested plenty of money into skins for the champions he mentioned. (He mentioned Katarina, Karma, Heimerdinger, Urgot, etc.) And for Riot to say "Hey, this champion that you main and invested in is useless and no one thinks that champion is practical, so were just going to take it away." is kind of outrageous.

The second thing he mentioned was how Riot should stop focusing on shoveling out a new champion every two weeks, and perhaps focus on making the overall game better in the terms of balance. Here's the deal, League of Legends is a FREE game, and Riot Games is a BUSINESS. So looking at it from Riot's point of view, if they want income, make new champions. You can't imagine how much money Riot makes for each champion made. And for bug fixes, the net profit is zero. You can see where the dilemma comes in? Riot needs money in order to allow people to enjoy the game, therefore making bug fixes less frequent. And this may seem like a stupid argument, but Riot has to pay for tons of servers in many different regions, host these tournaments (whose prize pool is 5 million dollars), etc..

Anyway, that's my two cents.
