Armor is basically what I use for anything. The reason why I still use it is because ive really never had to exchange them out for mana regen. They also help if you are laning against Caitlyn.

Caitlyn can get pretty troublesome at times if they know what they are doing.

but yeah Trading them in for flat Magic Resist or Mana Regen is great as well.

I like this guide, but i can't see the armor runes fit in, since you should be mid and often there's a caster there and they do magic damage, maybe switch them for either mana regen runes flat or scaling or flat magic resist

The summoners spell i agree with ignite but would pref flash to get away from sticky situations like a gank or such.
You could maybe just add some other options for summoner spells but still +1 from here great guide

Potency gives 15AP along with Force. but force is already stacked at lv 6 anyways your ulti can still deal damage.

Now the reason why I dont get deathfire grasp is because lucky pick gives you a lot of gold.
and yes deathfire is great to rush.. but it also great to wait for. If you run out of mana get a tear of the goddess and build RoA while you have tear.

Baleful Strike at lv 2 going into lv 6 is fine. Yes it takes a lot of skill. But It just means you got to be good at farming, and yes I do level it twice after I get my ult at lv 6, because it helps midgame but as long as you just have 1 level in baleful you can still get AP with your baleful but then again it is harder, I can handle with it since the extra AP makes my baleful stronger :D.which I get about 170 creeps regularly per game with veig.

I go with Dark Matter Twice for the reason it deals more damage. and I can burst HARD. If you still have a hard time with mana.. Id get your fiendish codex early.

This guide is basicaly my touch to veigar and how I play him. I basically run these items every time and I get great success. A guy in ranked said I was going to have a hard time against Zigg's "The new recent champ".

And I practically outlaned him so hard that he started ganking all ends and went back 3 times. I ended the ranked game with 11-2-13 and my KDA with veigar is 11 now.

Ik this build is oddly original but I believe itll bring a new taste to new veigars.

I really worry about the potency of this guide, because a Veigar must run mana regain/lvl/5 seals and glyphs. Also @ lvl6 you should have Baleful Strike at lvl3, because you want to spam the **** out of it and leveling it reduces its CD. Also a Veigar should rush a Deathfire Grasp to be able to start oneshoting people as soon as he gets it.
