Works well, I used the first guide to solo top in ranked. Quite effective

I was a bit shocked when I saw build 3 on Morde full tank. Just on personal opinion, you really should never have to resort to play a Morde full tank (as there are many others who can do the job a lot better) and I think its a real waste to use someone with so much offensive capabilities as a bullet-sponge. Also, the build is fairly expensive, and for that kind of pricing, you could be building some AP items that still pack a lot of armor and mr + the offensive stats (Abssyal Scepter + Zhona's Hourglass jump to mind). My verdict is still out on this guide. Has some really good detail though and some well-thought out explanations on some of your choices, and I really liked the first two builds. Guess that third build just gives me a bit of a niggle.

thanks man, i tried explaining my selections as most as i could, oh and btw. my build 3, i never use except i have in a few instances. these instances included a whole team screaming to play tank morde, and threatening ragequit unless i did lol. i figured, hell, why not since i made one. other than that i agree 100% that morde is not best used as tank, however, i threw it in there just because... i now have to re-work my entire build because of NO FORCE OF NATURE!!! AHHHH im so mad that it was removed for season 3... any suggestions now??? oh and thx for the great insight, i wish more mobafire users were constructive and encouraging such as you.

I'm not sure about runes, but i think this build can work in a team with another ap char

as others have said they are weird and most don't like the vitality, but i haven't the IP to test all viable runes on morde, but i plan on doing some rune testing and updating soon, thanks for the comment!

wota as last item makes me sad :( btw you can get a lot of hate for buying frozen heart, which is sadly one of my favorite items for morde

3. at very least 6 of your "numbers" are completely invalid. regrowth pendant is very viable as first item, as you say in your build "3 health potions help take the sting out of your abilities" why not get regrowth pendant, when it takes all the sting out of abilities, plus you still get 1 HP pot in case you get pooped on. plus i build into FoN, which guess what, is actually viable. no late game help? wrong, a boost to 420 movement speed, MR (important for a tanky morde, which you wouldnt know obviously) and even more HP regen to stay in lane all game. and you say it doesnt help? and you say regrowth pendant doesnt get build into anything good? all wrong.

warmogs bad on Morde? no armour? did you see my "alternative builds"... guess you didnt see that if they have a really heavy AD carry, then you get thornmail, and even if you dont, you still get randuins owmen. plus boosting you from around 3.0 - 3.5k health, to around 4.2-4.7k health... i dont care if you do MASSIVE damage or not, your going to survive long enough to do that damage instead of insta-dieing... your wrong again.

did you really just say rylais is so terrible on morde? this makes me laugh, wanna know why? "I mainly buy this item for it's health, and it's AP" whats that you say? ohh just a quote from your build on rylais crystal scepter. lmfao your logic is contradictive.

on a different note however, you make a FEW good points. i have not tried armour seals a lot yet, i like having 4.7k health at the end of the game... but still, they are viable, also everything you pointed out about mysteries is valid, because i didnt think that portion of my guide over fully. thats why i simply say "i suggest going 9/21/0 masteries" at no point do i say exactly why i get every point in masteries. so dont expect it to be perfect.

in the end, temzilla, im glad you helped with your input, but im sad you cant be a little more open minded, instead of spewing out reasons my build "sucks", that most dont even apply, and the rest are mostly futile. very specific masteries are much less important than the build itself, so i never took a super good look into it, and im never DONE with my build, i am trying to gather all the info i can to make it better. however...

again thank you for at least taking the time to help me by pointing out SOME good ideas. even though most of what you tried to do was jab at reasons my build sucks.

oh yeah, and nighthawk, please no more comments on my guide, you downvoted and provide nothing as far as facts go, at least temzilla explained his reasoning... so the way i see it, your just a troll with no life.

Regrowth is for baddies.

Boots build into something you want, Regrowth doesn't, it's that simple.

FoN is **** tier. Warmog's is mediocre at best, too many items better than Warmog's.

If you have a fed AD carry, get Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen, NOT thornmail.

Tanky morde is bad, it ignores his passive completely.

Rylai's IS horrible on morde. The slow is terrible, the only reason i buy the item in my build is because at that point in the game i need health, AND AP, and i can't wait on a RoA, I will, and have built an RoA if i am ahead.

I'm not open minded because I've tried this build, and ALL of the other builds on this site, and i know which ones work, and which ones aren't effective.

You have to get away from health.

You have to go 40% CDR if you are going to play tanky mordekaiser.

Something like...

Is pretty sexy if you can pay for it.
