Passive: Kassadin's melee attacks draw energy from the void, restoring 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 mana each hit. If this effect is triggered from attacking a champion the amount of mana restored is tripled.Active: Kassadin's normal attacks become charged, dealing 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 (+15% of ability power) bonus magic damage for 5 seconds.

since they changed the ability, if you get that and malady or nashor's tooth, you can actually farm with him and stay full mana without having to get blue or b. Before it was armour pen as the active, now its added dmg +15%ap, with the build of bezerk treads, malady, rage blade, lich bane, gunblade. was hitting for 165+150(nether blade)+20(malady)+(redbuff) and not including proc from lich bane at about 1.7 atsp. Fun part is if anyone uses ability on you, you attack faster. Go for cooldowns, this ability after change allows you to actually make a laning, non mid, non ap kass with lots of survivability. |

Another nice thing I've found about Nether Blade is that the 5 seconds of added magic damage appear to procure spell vamp. So with Hextech Revolver/Gunblade, Kassadin can regain health pretty quickly...especially if you hybridize Kass with attack speed and lifesteal (which I enjoy). |
