1. Work work zug zug dabo
Some of you might know I graduated from my environmental studies which was really cool and stuff, but I graduated in November, which is a REALLY awkward time to end a studies. Especially since I want to continue studying towards a masters degree which usually start in September. So what I did was ask someone in the field that I wish to do my masters into about some tips and there was this convention happening on GIS, the field I am interested in. At first I always thought that GIS was limited to the creation of maps like we learned on environmental studies, boy was I wrong! When I arrived I learned quickly that I didn't know **** and that I still had tons to learn. Luckily I was able to talk to a bunch of people there and managed to get myself a job.

This job would be on the other side of the country (which is fine because it is the Netherlands we are talking about) and I would investigate CityGML, a 3D standard for geographical data. I had no idea what it was and my supervisors had no idea either, so my job was basically to investigate what it was and how we can work with it. We all thought it was easy before we started, until we were heavily reminded that I didn't know **** on anything GIS related. Pretty much the first few weeks I was asking them lists of questions on what everything was because there was simply too much to learn in a short amount of time. Once the basic foundation was laid down however, I was able to work with them properly and learn some really valuable information about very useful programs that I will likely work with in my masters. Achievement complete.

Now this job is getting rounded up and considering that I still want an income after this project I started up a fiverr page to see if I can earn quick bucks online and get some experience in the meanwhile as well. Hopefully it works, else I actually have to go places for work and who wants to do that amarite!!!

2. What is the meaning of live? I mean where do you live?
Ima big boy now and living at the other side of the country from where you work has proven not to be a very convenient way of living. As I wanted to move to Wageningen at some time anyway (as my masters would take place there), I decided to move there earlier as it was also more central in the Netherlands than silly old Roosendaal. Wageningen has been great so far, it is a nice cozy city as well as having a great campus and most importantly, burek.

Although things have been great on a general standpoint, I have not been living alone here for the past few months as it is a student housing. I will admit that I have been very lucky with how I got here and the people I share house with, but I will also admit that I have never realized before how much I can improve on a social level and how there is still a long way between me and maturity (Xeres also helped me realize that). Living with parents or by yourself is MUCH more forgiving than living with random people is. These randos have certain expectations and the worst part is, I have certain expectations and I need to tell that to them without being a **** about it. So now I am learning how to be social without losing myself which is something seemingly a lot of people were able to figure out earlier, but hey gotta learn someday.

There are more things I want to do now and I am considering joining some volunteers work so I can be useful instead of being a hermit in the weekends. Otherwise I will have to plan a social activity every weekend myself as nobody else seems to take the initiative unless its about party hardy unts unts unts unts which I myself am not that interested in.

3. Yeah yeah romance still happening, dw about it
So like I am in the Netherlands, Xeres is still in Macedonia. I try to go there sometimes and he will come here in the summer. A good ol jolly time. He is gonna start his new studies after this summer and he will go into the EU for his studies. He will stay in the Balkans, so it is not like he will be super close, but the EU has more human rights so that is nice. Especially as a EU citizen as well.

Before I always thought with great certainty that I would stay in the Netherlands for my entire life. Now I honestly don't care much anymore, as long as I stay in the EU so I can travel back to my family with more ease. Which is an interesting development. Not that relevant right now as I will do my masters for 2 years in the Netherlands, but it is some nice food for my own thought.

4. IRL meetups with more mobaferians waaaaa
Here I am not trying to be a hermit and me realizing that levvy and LL are cool people and living in the Netherlands AND them wanting to meet more mobaferians before I was like: Why not meet them. So we planned two weekends where we meet up, first just levvy and then LL and levvy (something weird happened in the communication) and both times were really cool tbh.

During the last weekend we came up with the idea to do a meetup for the entire of Europe, where we would go to some central EU country and live in a hostel for a week. It was just a thought, but I am totally up to organizing this week if more people from different countries show interest! :D
