Why hello there.
#1 Ahri guide maker here.
Before #Worlds, I firmly believed that Ahri was balanced. I'm by no means an expert on this game, but it was my opinion. Maybe I just didn't want my favorite champion nerfed. Maybe I was able to carry in ranked with Ahri and nerfs would make it harder. While Ahri has a high skill-cap, I'm starting to change my mind after seeing her 80%+ pick/ban rate in worlds. After seeing Faker land 4 Charms in a row to win the game. After seeing like every Ahri go 7/1/6. Ahri might be OP. Not crazy op, but I'm seeing small nerfs in the future such as +10 seconds on Spirit Rush cooldown. Maybe +2 seconds on Charm cooldown. Aww after all these months, maybe everyone's favorite fox might get nerfed.
Seriously, that Faker though.
Oh yeah, and thanks for 1.5M views!

Why is your Ahri guide "FOXFIRe" with a lower case e?
It's a reference to the mass spamming FOXFIRe AHRI WHERE? on the forums which was inspired by PULSEFIRe EZREAL WHERE?
The reference is at least a year old and it wasn't really that popular so I'm sure not many people get it. Then again, I didn't really put a whole bunch of thought in a title and it was the first thing I thought of lol
Ryze was also nerfed into the ground and was always a go-to counter against Ahri.
Think of it like this: If you're Vayne up against a Caitlyn then you've lost lane. However, through mechanical prowess or timely item advantages you're able to swing the lane into your favor due to the fact that you're both ranged on paper. You can still fudge trades and there's a degree of outplay.
You just don't get that same level of depth when you're melee. It's too much of a disadvantage and results in Ahri having free reign over most mid laners even when champions like Fizz are picked to counter her during laning phase.
When you factor in the potential of Charm when death timers begin to get extremely punishing then it's easy to see why she's OP at the moment.
She seems a bit like Lee Sin. A champion that requires lots of practice and has a mechanically dependent kit, therefore being only average in low elo.
But as soon as somebody who knows how to actually play the champion and has great mechanics, they stomp.
Also, a question.
