Taric Nerf(?) Make Me Outrageously Sad

Man, Taric W nerf.... sadness. It used to be once you hit level 2, you just couldn't die. That aura made him and everyone near him just wayy too tanky. It was fun. But no more... I just played a game with him and the change does what it's supposed to do, make his early game laning just a little weaker. You actually have to be careful in lane now..... jeez Riot wtf. I don't want to be careful, I just want to tank all the damages and not care.

The Gemcraft rework... doesn't make much of a difference imo. At least not for a support.

What these Nidalee Changes Really Mean

So I'm not anyone important, but this is just my interpretation of the Nidalee changes, I'm Gold Div. 3 and Nidalee is definitely my main and I've probably played about 1200 games with her. So I'm not trying to talk myself up, but I feel like I understand her pretty well.

Anyway these are the changes, so let's take a look:

Quoted:

No longer gains Magic Resist per level
Swipe
Ability Power ratio increased 0.6 from 0.4
Aspect of the Cougar
No longer grants bonus Armor or Magic Resist

The Swipe change is pretty minor, it's not really compensation for bruiser Nidalee, and only compensation for AP Nidalee.

No longer gaining MR per level is pretty huge, more so for mid lane, but it still effects top lane Nidalee and late-game.

No longer gaining flat MR and Armor for cougar form is a pretty substantial change. If anything this is pretty substantial to bruiser Nidalee more than AP nidalee.

So in a whole, I think the changes are pretty bad for bruiser Nidalee, and while I don't kno…

Going for Gold.

Well so far I'm doing well in ranked just hit division two in silver when I was division seven about two or three days ago. So once I hit gold I think I might stream some games on twitch. I've been really enjoying the new ranked system now since good ranked games are easy to come by now which is awesome. Also I wanted to know what you guys thought about me doing some livestream and seeing how I play. Who knows maybe some feed back from you guys would help me even more.Currently I just fill any role I can and my per game averages is 6.1 kills and 4.5 deaths, but it's slowly getting better.

More MOBA Blog!

Wow, been a while since i was on here. Stuff has happened. It is as follows

I got to bronze 4 from bronze 5 (yay), I tried some odd combinations, and I've gotten a good build down for Lux (Which I may or may not post at some point).

Aside form that, some of the odd combos are things like Sona mid as a straight AP caster, or Zyra as a support, which seems to be getting a little bit of popularity recently. I'm interested in finding more of these combos and exploiting them to the fullest. I'm thinking of trying Siv HD's Atmog's Fate, and maybe seeing if I can make a tanky initiator tristana, or something similar. Afterall, I've already got caster and adc tristana down, why not explore other options?

Oh, and for anyone who actually read my first blog posts, thank you, also we got eliminated in the 2nd round, badly. We made it into the 2nd round because the other team didn't show, which was kinda nice, but also kind of frustrating.

Oh well, I guess that's all for now

Cheers,
Ozy

kali

Anyone have any tips/tricks for akali? (besides the obvious things like use R on minis to catch up to enemies, or use W on "edges" or "curbs") I recently bought her because I love her kit, and most of the people I see play kali are just straight OP, and I had some IP to spend. Any preferred builds? (I'm not talking about like the top rated akali build on mobafire, I'm talking about YOUR PREFERRED BUILD) Ty for the feedback to everyone that does...

Introduction

Hello boys & girls!

So, this is my very first blog here on mobafire.com and I thought for a long time about what subject my first blog should contain. Sure, I could write about a certain game of LoL I have played because it was so unique or something like that, or I could write about my every day life and by doing that put myself into the attention-***** niche of blogging. But I am not that kind of a person, when I write something long and put a lot of time in it, especially on the internet, I try to find a topic that is interesting, allows for some heated discussions and does not touch something that was beaten to death in 100+ publications before me. So finding a topic for my first mobafire-blog was actually quite difficult. In the end it was a simple round of Normal Draft on Summoner's Rift that I've played yesterday evening that showed me a topic I eagerly would like to convert into written form and discuss with other people related to the game I love so much and play…

First Blog Post

So, this is my first blog post after creating my MOBAFire account.
I have used MOBAFire for a few years now but, am just now getting around to creating an account. I do not know whether or not I will start writing guides as they seem to take a rather large amount of time and effort. I feel as though if I were to compile a guide I would feel accomplished afterwards only to have my guide shot down like every other guide.

I enjoy smoking marijuana, I usually smoke when I play League of Legends. It makes everything more intense ya know?

Anyways, hopefully I'll write a guide some time. :P

Archive and Re-Launch Guide?

Hm, so my guide has come a LONG way from what it used to be, but now I feel like I have very few changes/additions left to make, if any at all. Most of the guide review shops from reputable members of this community are closed or inactive, so I'm not sure how much more useful criticism I will receive. I think I'm reaching a point where my guide is essentially done and I will only be updating it occasionally for patch updates.

Now the question is: should I archive and re-launch the guide? I would loooove to snatch that top spot away, and at the current voting rate, I'm not sure I can. Whether this is due to lack of exposure or just lack of general trust in my guide, I have no idea. But I've heard that archiving and re-launching can revitalize a guide, and would make sense for a guide that has gone through as many changes as mine has.

Anyone have any thoughts out there?

First Blog!!!

W***up peeps and stalkers, this is going to be my first blog!
Today I've been getting more into this, MOBAFIRE, and I decided to do more stuff on it.
My brother has his own little forum to constantly spam on, and he told me, "You know what (name), you should go find your own little website to be on." I've actually seen mobafire before, but I never really thought about doing stuff on it other than look at guides I won't even listen to anymore at the middle of the game. So here it is. first blog. whoope. tell me what you thought about my story, and if you would actually listen to my blogs. I will try to do it daily, but I DO have a schedule in life, like Tae Kwon Do. Fools. later.
