I have a question for you,
Why take electrocute and not Darkharvest?
Cauz with dark harvest you can easy one shot right ?

Both are good but electrocute seems a bit better early game as no dark harvest stack means no damage.

Hi! Thanks for reading!

Right now, Rengar is primarily a melee caster, meaning that he doesn't really rely on auto attacks to do damage. So for this patch (8.3), Lethality Rengar is SO much better.

However if the Rengar rework goes through, crit might be viable again. But for now, just stick with lethality

When jungling, if you have full ferocity stacks what ability should you use for monsters like gromp

Empowered Q is the best, as it deals the most damage.

However, you can opt to use Empowered W if you're low

So Ive been a rengar main main for a bit, and why not do (if in the jungle) Red AD smite item, then duskblade, static shiv, IE, with cdr boots, and the last item being situational chosen? Been using it in solo q for the longest time and the burst potential is insane and depending on your last item give you sustained damage in fights.

Here is the reasoning behind the way I build for Rengar.

In my opinion, rushing duskblade over warrior enchantment gives you stronger snowball potential because of duskblade's passive. In addition, the bonus 20 lethality, plus the removal of armor runes means that you are almost doing true damage to carries. This means that by skipping the warrior enchantment, you're focusing on Duskblade + Ghostblade that gives you 40 lethality, 110 AD and 20% CDR, compared to Warrior + Duskblade that gives you 5 more AD, but 20 less lethality for around the same price.

As for statik shiv, I don't like building crit because I feel like relying too much on crit is too inconsistent. Rengar receives a guaranteed crit on his first attack after his R, and only IE is necessary for amplifying this crit. Personally, building lethality is better because you are not relying on luck and are consistently doing the same amount of damage every time you go in.

CDR boots is nice and all, but also keep in mind that Ninja Tabis and Merc Treads are also very viable.

I just started playing rengar recently, one problem is, when I use ult, or enemy expected me, and if they have cc like stun or knock up, I can't counter it. They will just cc me when I jump in, before I have full ferocity, so I can't use ferocity w to break cc. What do you do when you are facing champions like heimerdinher and cassiopeia?

For CC comps, it is important that you by stuff like Merc Treads, Edge of Night and even QSS. As for ulting, its main purpose is to generate picks. This becomes difficult in later stages of the game when the enemy is grouping up. Generally, you HAVE to wait for your team to engage for you or else you will get CC chained. The area you pick your fight is also important. You want to be able to make use of your leap after your R, so a place with bushes around is good for fighting and avoiding damage. Basically, you need to be patient and wait for your team to engage so that you can assassinate your target.

As for Cass, you want to cast your Edge of Night before jumping in - to avoid the instant Petrifying Gaze. Cass' ult only stuns when you're facing her, and you can use your Q to avoid this. Basically, you cast your Q and click behind your character model, this will make Rengar turn around.
As a melee champion, it is pretty hard to deal with Heim. The best thing is to generally avoid ganking him. However, if you are forced to do something, try to catch him where his turrets aren't up, or when his Zhonyas/Stopwatch is down. Let your team engage before you jump in.

I always build red warrior first, then duskblade and youmuu, do you think I should build a qss early if enemy squishy champ have strong cc? Because normally about mid or late game, I use my ult to kill alone suishy champs, and in that situation my problem happens. I'm thinking about is it possible to instantly get full ferocity when I jump in? Because normally during the jump I cast e, then q and AA, then I save w for the most healing. I don't know how fast they can be casted and I'm still making mistakes at it.

Which runes do you use, those recommended or those that are already made?
1
cutmeh (3) | November 10, 2017 6:49pm
The runes that are most consistent right are:
Domination: Electrocute -> Sudden Impact -> Eyeball Collection -> Ingenious Hunter
Sorcery: Ultimate Hat -> Transcendence

Is rengar able to carry?
1
cutmeh (3) | November 9, 2017 5:44pm
Of course, you have to maintain and snowball your lead though. This means ganking whenever your ult is up or when you see an opportunity. To actually carry when you're fed, you should first let your team engage so that you can deal damage without getting cc'd to death. Overall, patience is the key.
