Dear Navn, I got to my silver tier (again) thanks to your Sona guide <3 haha But Moonstone has been harder to use in a successful way.

And yes, as long as you can be safe, Moonstone feels very strong on Sona, but sometimes, being able to just run at people feels even better (and honestly, I personally find it to be more fun XD)

Aw yeah, I feel like positioning is even more key in this build, right? Otherwise, she's done!
While Shurelya feels much safer to just get in or get out lol

Yup! harder to position properly since you won't have as much movement speed, and the effectiveness of your healing/shielding is amplified, so you gotta try to tag as many people with your W as possible

It can, if they enjoy attack speed, usually a melee carry, like Yi, Trydamere, Jax, and not really bruisers, and especially not tanks.

Ardent Censer is also not too great because Sona doesn't really benefit from any of the stats from buffing others, but it's still very efficient when many people can benefit from the attack speed.

I just missed the mention of ads (as the AS enjoyers), so I asked myself if AC had a better synergy with those melee carries than with the ranged ones.
