Introduction

:::NOT FOR HIGH-ELO PLAY::: :::FUN PUB BUILD:::

This is just a fun build to play in normal solo queue, Emphasizing farming ability and getting cdr items early enough to allow kayle to support her team until she has the items required to carry lategame. Lategame you are basically a ranged version of tryndamere, hitting for 1000+ Crits, and being immune to all damage. Unlike tryndamere however, you leave with full health after your ult and do not need to be exposed in melee range to damage enemies.

A note about the items, sure they do not take full advantage of Kayles passive, but we do not care about that. The damage from this build is so immense that we focus only on Physical/Critical damage and CDR. Any bonus AP(although welcomed) is wasted on a weak heal and reckoning, which without any magic penetration, is fairly weak.

Runes

Armor Penetration marks and quints allow you to farm better and make that physical damage hurt in a fight. Mana5/lvl seals and glyphs help mitigate kayles mana problems throughout the game.

Masteries

Standard DPS masteries here, I forgo sorcery and archaic knowledge because all of my cdr is handled by items, and this build is about maximizing physical damage. Instead I invest the points into sunder and offensive mastery to increase my armor penetration and farming ability.

Items

I start with Dorans ring simply because it helps kayle with early mana issues, extra health, and the 15AP (which adds about 3 AD) Helps you farm and buffs your heal slightly. I like to get an avarice blade as early as I can but not until after basic boots and meki pendant, so I can maximize the gold/10 potential as much as I can until i complete youmous ghostblade. CDR items are next, I get brutalizer first for the damage increase, after that I complete nashors and my merc treads. With the introduction of the Tenacity system, merc treads now reduces silences, which is why I take merc treads instead of cleanse like I used to. CC is Kayles biggest enemy. The last three items are fairly self explanatory and give kayle the damage and chasing abilty required of a physical carry. As we are trying to maximize flat Armor penetration with this build I choose the black cleaver rather than another item like the bloodthirster. The lifesteal component is not required because you go in, you Ult, and they are either dead or you retreat before you take any damage. You have your heal to top you up between battles.

Skill Sequence

Skills are mainly focusing on letting you stay in the lane and farm to the best of your ability. I take one point in Righteous fury right away so i can last hit minions from afar. After that the priority is on your Heal, to keep you in the lane as long as possible. Once it hits midgame, level your skills according to the situation, always taking your Ult when available.

Summoner Spells

I prefer ghost for chasing/escaping, and ignite to finish off enemies, early game battles, and as a further deterrent so they wont try to towerdive you. Optional spells could be flash or cleanse, although I prefer mercury's treads for CC reduction. If you do take cleanse berzerkers greaves would be viable. I dont feel any other spells are really that great for maximizing what we are trying to achieve, an unstoppable dps machine.

Summary

Give this build a try if you feel like trying something new, you can still be useful as a support champ early game, and deliver some obscene dps once you get your infinity edge and cleaver finished.

Early game your focus is to farm farm farm... go for the kill if they underestimate your early damage, but play conservatively and either your team will win for you by 30 mins or you will carry your team at 35 mins. The focus is to farm up and not let the enemy push your towers before you obtain useful damage.

Endgame tactics you play just as you would tryndamere, slow your target with reckoning, pound away at them, and once they start focusing you, ult. With most of your items complete your target should die before your ult wears off. Then you either retreat or finish off the rest of the enemies. A nice note is that with Reckoning, you do 25% extra damage, allowing you to do more physical damage to a target than any other champion in the game in my opinion.

Thats about it! Until next time!
