Well this is my first build and I decide to build Akali. I don't know how anyone else plays her but I play her as an assassin. You dash in, burst a squishie down then run out before anyone knows it just turned into a 5v4.

I don't know much about runes yet, I don't have many of them but I figure that these runes will be helpful.

Now my build at the top has a standard 21/0/9 build. You can also do the usual AP 9/0/21 build. Its up to you and your playstyle. They both do great damage.

I have seen a few other Akali players build something similar, but I do my build for pure straight up burst damage. You should never be in combat for more than a few seconds where you Shadow Dance over to a squishie, blow him up then run away before anyone is the wiser. Circle around and do it again. Its your job.

You start off with boots and 3 health pots to allow you to survive in your lane. Next you do either sheen if you want to start to wander, or hextech revolver if you want to continue to lane. The Spell Vamp off hextech will allow you to continue in your lane and use mark to regen health like mad. After you get both you finish up your boots, get lichbane, then finish up your hextech gunblade. The gunblade will activate your secondary passive making you regain life like its going out of style. Next you'll pick up a rabadons. Now the order for the last 2 doesn't matter much. I usually do rylai's then hourglass. But if they have a lot of ap I'll get an abyssal scepter instead.
