Introduction
To start off, I picked these runes for lane Shaco because they help him the most in-game. His Q is based off of crit, so giving him extra crit damage is going to help his Q hurt. Armor and Magic resist are self explanitory, and i give him Flat damage quints to help his auto attacks do some damage as well. Some alternatives are flat damage Marks, or mana regen glyphs for added sustain.
As for Masteries, i give him 21 in offence, 6 in defense and 3 in utility. Just enough to give him added damage, some extra defense, and a bit of extra mana for the long haul. Some possible alternatives are to take the three from utility and put them in health regen for abit of added sustainability.
I usually begin with boots of speed and three health potions. this has never let me down before. another choice to start is a dorans ring for added damage to your jack in the boxes. then i rush wriggles lantern for wards and life steal, followed by sheen for extra damage to your Q. from there i get madreds bloodrazors, bezerkers greaves, trinity force, a bloodthirster for extra lifesteal, and a phantom dancer for movement, crit chance, and attack speed.
my summoner spells are flash, exhaust. i use my exhaust for first blood by stacking boxes in a bush and luring my opponents in, exhausting them and attacking them while they try to run away. this always ends in a kill for me, and occasionally a double kill. I use my flash to escape from sticky situations, or to catch up to enemies who try to run away. Usually a flash and a Q with sheen should be enough to last hit any low HP enemy ho tries to escape.
