with the recent patch, i'm actually inclined to consider the dominance of AD Nid over AP Nid. The problem with AP Nid, is... essentially all sustain she had is now gone (aka her heal is now terrible). Sure, spears got a buff, but nothing substantial, and as a poke/support... well, she can basically only support the mana to either support, or to poke now. She can't do both. In other words, she got the shaft. The only real nerf to AD Nid is the change in panther forms passive. The loss of dodge in exchange for armor/magic resistance hurts a little, but it's not nearly as champion breaking as the heal nerf. In fact, it's only really a nerf against AD champs. Against AP champs, it's a slight buff. I'm definitely going to try some form of an AD Nid out.

Read it closer..... it says until level 6, which is when you get that stuff.

I also find Gunroo's Rageblade or whatever incredibly useless. If you're a poke or of the sort, then going in and attacking a lot will do nothing. You obviously have no damage to begin with if you AP Nidalee, and you're just enforcing you got this item so you could throw spears faster or something. Sure it's great for farming minions, but that's what cougar form is. 2 AoEs and a finisher, derp.

Part of AD Nidalee is attacking with the right combo at the right time. You do her bite attack as the last combo after javelin toss and etc. for maximum damage. It might not work against high armor champions, but I simply can't do **** as AP Nidalee.

And for all you guys saying "Oh Nidalee is AP why are you doing AD" It's because I use ****ing Cougar form and kill everything with it. I don't need to use AP for anything other than healing myself, and if most of her spells have AP? Well guess what? I can claw you face off in 15 seconds with 300 damage, and a bunch of AP I have to keep using my skills to do anything in rapid succession. True, her late game can be useless, but if you are in late game, you are probably doing bad anyways. AP Nidalee doesn't help you either since A. You don't have many healing capabilities B. Farming? Are you kidding me? You're more likely to get farmed trying to get a minion kill than ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE. C. All her damage relies on a skillshot than oh guess what, it flies slowly, and you are an idiot if it hits you at max range. Yeah, it's good for chasing. If they're stupid, have no where to run to, or can't dodge ****. AP Nidalee is good for over time damage and then dying. AD Nidalee is getting into a teamfight, beating the **** out of someone, killing them, and having enough HP left over to attack some more. So yeah, some of the items in this build might be too expensive, but any good build has expensive items in it. If you think AP Nidalee is great, then you're playing her as support then. I like this guide because it helps me scores some kills even with a good team. I'll die to a bad team with AP Nidalee because of my play style, so I don't care what champion you go play. Pantheon is a joke compared to Nidalee's Cougar form. So what if you have an auto attack block, you can shoot a spear, and do a little spear thingy that does barely any damage. I can run in, pounce, swipe, bite, trap, spear, heal, all at the same time. Nidalee is like the champion that has 6 abilities. Her ultimate in my opinion is a lot better than a simple damage ultimate since you do more damage over time than any other ultimate by using it. So yes, I admit to being better with AD Nidalee. It's just the simple fact that you aren't going to get anywhere if you play bad teams anyways, so AP Nidalee is support, AD is assassin. Simple as that.

AD Nidalee was nerfed this patch.

AP poke nidalee got a HUGE buff.

RoA>Deathcap>CDR shoes start team fights in mid, and win easily because healers are nerfed.

Deathcap+Lich Bane nidalee does more damage than this build would as cougar, you can't say AD nidalee is an assassin, because only one skill scales off of AD, and you still can't combo someone 100-0 as nidalee unless you are WAY over leveled/fed/farmed.

Dude this build is really awful sorry for saying, but all of nidalee's spells scale with Ability Power, except her auto-attacks in cougar and human form. You'r heals would not heal for more than 300-400 with this build.

i am play similar build for ages. However there are afew diferences. At first, the biggest mistake for this build is javelin toss. I know, in early game it is able to do huge damage, but better way is primal swipe. The reason is nice attack speed boost, so you can done a lot of last hiting, so you can earn money really easily. Next fault is trinity force. Yes, you are right, i has got nice passive, but it is to expensive. You should take Infinity Edge. The damage will be awesome. About hextech i am not sure too. The second bloodthirster is better 'cos of heal. It has got good damage and awesome lifesteal. And it is cheaper. So now you have awesome damage, good attack speed and what more: awesome lifesteal. So your heal spell is only for attack speed bonus :)

PS.: your main attack is auto attack and heal. For the best results you should stay in human form as many is possible. The cat form is good only to escape or killing blows with takedown :)

Pretty bad build. Stop pretending that Nidalee is Pantheon. If you do well with this build, you are playing a bad team.

I like this build. I don't have Nidalee yet but when I do I will try this one out first then make my own tweeks from there.
