I have tried AD Thresh a few times. In my opinion it is extremely viable at this point because of his passive tanky armor gain, passive ap gain, and skill set. With his amount of cc, and especially his e being used as a good disengage if a melee champion gets in on you, he hits hard and survives well.

I would personally change the phantom dancer to a ruunan's hurricane, because it does proc off his autos AND his q boost damage DOES proc off of Ruunan bolts as of today. Also, if facing an ap heavy team, you can easily get a mercurial scimitar, maintain damage, and still be ridiculously tanky for an adc.

Stop this. Him getting free armor doesn't make him any better at an AD carry. That's like saying Xerath is utterly safe from physical damage compared to other mages because of his passive. he isn't and Thresh sucks as an AD character. If you wanted to play him AD, you'd be giving up what his kit is designed to do, initiate andblock off attackers from his carries, not become one himself.

Stop humoring these " Thresh can be an adc lol" morons.
