It is ok to start with boots early game but I found that he is really squishy and his attack damage isn't high enough at the start that is why I choose to start with a Dorans Blade instead of boots. For a higher attack speed, berseker greaves is really the main choice, it is up to you if you want to get a phantom dancer after that for more speed and utility and a higher critical chance or you could get a Bloodthrist to get that extra life-steal and also a higher attack damge. Then just get the rest of the build but make sure they are applicable so you don't put yourself into a disadvantage against the other team.
