Champion Build Guide

Ahri, say no more

Introduction
Welcome to the LEAGUE of Drav...Ahri!

This guide is under construction, but my goal is to give you as much useful information as possible to have you ready to win on the rift with Ahri.

Ahri is a really fun champ to play. I started maining Ahri a few days into my League adventure. Ahri drew me in with her quick play style, especially post level 6. She can get around the map, set up plays, and burst down champs on her own. Plus with the recent re-work to her Ult (R) she can keep fighting in those long team fights.

With that being said, I wish you the best on the rift. Stay positive, win games, have fun, and be nice! (except to Fizz players😏)
Summoner Spells
In this section, I'm going to go over the main three summoner spells you'll use as an Ahri. As time goes on, I may add more spells and notes on when they're applicable.

Flash: Ahri without Flash is like a hotdog without a bun; Flash being the bun. Flash keeps Ahri together, it gives her alot of options when playing, and keeps the opposing team on their toes. Here's how to properly use Flash on Ahri. I'm sure you've heard of the Flash/Charm or Charm/Flash Ahri trick. Its when you Charm and Flash towards that target in about a split second to catch them off-guard, allowing you to Charm them and deal burst damage with the rest of your spells. I recommend watching youtube videos on how to properly use it, since it can be a little tricky to understand and get right.

I'll be honest though, I don't use that technique much, and here's why. One, it gets rid of your Flash, and its not a guaranteed kill unless you play the build up properly. Two, a Flashless Ahri pre level 6 is killable! Being killable means you play your lane differenlty, you play it safer, possibly losing minions. Losing minions equals losing CS, and wave control. It allows your opposing midlaner to roam too. So pre-level 6 I would never recommmend using the Charm/Flash technique, UNLESS! Unless you've already bursted them down to something like half health and they're not playing smart. If they're half health-ish, and you have all your spells ready to go, plus ignite just incase, then pre level 6, go for it. Charm/Flash and get that kill. Otherwise don't use it until you have your ult.

Why else use Flash you may ask? Well I'll tell ya. To escape, obvisouly. But more than that, it can act as a fourth or first dash for your Ult. You can get in position to secure a kill or a gank with that flash. There will be times, you're ganking another lane, and the only way to get there intime to ensure they don't get killed is to Ult your way there. If you use up some of your Ults you can use Flash at the end for an extened Ult. In that gank, if you end up procing Ahri's Ult passive, which gives her some more dashes, then you've done well and can keep fighting.

Finally, for Flash, no matter what stage of the game you're in, if you don't have it be careful. If you don't have it and don't have Ult, be extracareful. Do not engange in a fight without one of the two, because all you have left is charm to get away, and thats not good enough.

Ignite: This is the standard pairing to Flash because it can secure you those early kills, snowballing you to dominating the lane. Generally you want to use Ignite on an enemy somewhere around half/to under half health. Make sure to use it while you have other move's up too. Don't use it while you have your Q,W on cooldown. You would end up wasting the ignite. Here's the ideal scenario on when to use it. Pre level 6 - you and the opposing laner have the minion wave somewhat in the middle if not to your side. You've poked them down with a AA, W, AA. They're somewhat half-health at this point. The wave is either even or you have slighly more minions. With them being about half health, and you have enough mana for a full combo, and nothing on Cooldown - you engage. E, Q, AA, Ignite, W, AA. Boom-bop-pow, they dead. Landing your Charm will give you enough time to burst them down, without them flashing.

Post Level 6, Ignite hits different. With your Ult up, again you want to get them to half-health before going all in. But with them half health, you can burst them down hard. And they may very well retreat to the safety of their tower with less than a quarter health remaining. But jokes on them! Because we have our ULT up and that Flash, and of course ignite. With enough health you can DIVE them under tower. Crash the wave if you can, if you can't, nbd, you might lose the Flash for this. But what you'll do is try and hit any spell on them. Ult at them and Ignite them, and Ult out. Either through their jungle or back the way you came. Make sure you only take one tower shot or two at most. If you feel that you're going to take more than that, don't do it. Its not worth. But if you pull this off, GGs. You will killed them, secured tower plateing, made them lose a few waves, and you're going to be snowballing. They'll probably play safe for the rest of the laning phase, but don't let that deter you, poke them down, then burst - rinse and repeat.

Teleport: This is the unsung hero of Summoner spells. Take this into match-ups where you can't secure kills, or where they will poke you down. Use it to get back to lane as needed, so you don't miss minion waves. After 14 miniutes, use it to either gank other lanes or put pressure if needed.
