Lore
However, though she appeared human, she knew that in truth the transformation was incomplete. A cunning creature, she adapted herself to the customs of human society and used her profound gift of beauty to attract unsuspecting men. She could consume their life essences when they were under the spell of her seductive charms. Feeding on their desires brought her closer to her dream, but as she took more lives, a strange sense of regret began to well within her. She had reservations about actions which never troubled her as a fox. She realized that she could not overcome the pangs of her evolving morality. In search of a solution, Ahri found the Institute of War, home of the most gifted mages on Runeterra. They offered her a chance to attain her humanity without further harm through service in the League of Legends.
Ahri is new and incredibly fun to play. This guide will hopefully give you some insight and help on how to build her properly. I don't expect you to follow everything said in the guide, because how you build your champion is completely situational and entirely depends on what you personally like. She is new, and people are still discovering different builds for her, and other means of playing the champion, but all in all I hope this guide can help you find out your ideal play style. :)
Ahri's AP ratios are a little low to start, so I begin with two AP quints (Greater Quintessence of Potency)and nine gylphs of potency, this helps with the early game damage, and as you level up your skills you should have good damage output.
The mana regeneration seals (Great Seals of Clarity)are to help through out the game, her mana costs are not terribly high, but to land a full combo on an enemy champion can leave you a little low, so these help a lot with that.
I finish with a full set of magic penetration marks (Greater Marks of Insight) and one magic pen quint (Greater Quintessence of Insight) and this so far has worked beautifully for me. The downside to this however, is that it leaves her more squishy early game and is an easy target for ganks, so, as a general rule you should buy wards and be aware for junglers and MIA's.

Early game laning for me is all about keeping distance and poking with your Q, trying your best to keep you the creep scores and to help activate her passive. When you hit level six, you can start landing your combo, normally, my combo is E-Q-W-R and ignite to finish off the remaining health (if they have any, that is.) This combo enables you to taunt them and deal significant burst damage before they even have a chance to escape, afterwards you can pop the ultimate to finish them, and then push before going back to shop.
Acquiring blue buff sincearly helps Ahri land and spam combo's and help keep her passive up if she ever gets low on health.
Farming for Ahri is quite easy, I combine my Q and W to farm. My Q getting the minions low and then my W finishing off a group of them. Continue doing this and harassing your opponent if you can, gently poking them and making them unable to last hit. IF you find yourself pushed up against an opponent, you can use your E to taunt them into the tower before landing the combo. A neat little trick to do whenever someone gets too close. :)

Use your E to charm selected enemy towards you, so that your team can jump on them.
This is a quick and efficient way to begin a fight, as you do this try to target the biggest threat so that they are out of the way and your team can feel free to run in. Using your ultimate to dash in and out of the fight and then your Q and W to deal as much damage to surrounding enemies. Try pick off people with the lowest health and chase after those who try to escape with your ultimate.
What NOT to do:
Never initiate a fight alone, always have your team with you before you try.
Do not be in the middle of the fight, always be around it. Ahri is very squishy until she gets her items, and until then you should always be keeping distance and using your ultimate to dash in and out of the battle.

I choose flash and ignite on Ahri, but other good choices are
-Ghost
-Cleanse
-Surge
-Teleport
-Exhaust
-Clarity
In Dominion I pick Flash and Garrison to help defend points, and if in any immediate danger, I can activate Garrison and use my ultimate to dash around the enemies as I wait for my team mates.
