Cons
- Landing Charm may be difficult to hit if you want to initiate

- Early game before level 6 has low damage
- Ahri is a great harasser early game using her Orb of Deception. Her burst damage excels many champs in the game at the moment. Her cool down on her ability makes it very easy to poke at champs while in lane. I for one almost never lose a mid lane while using ahri because she is so mobile it is very easy to fight a AP mid or trying to run away.

Recommended Summoner Spells
I recommend using Flash over Ghost because when in a fight after using your ult, you usually are either into far into enemy territory or safe and sound inside yours. I tend to be in many situiations where i can just use Flash to flash over an obstacle and run from their.
I choose Ignite so that just in case an enemy escape by a thread. You slap Ignite in their face and boom they are dead. Also it works well when trying to fight AP champs that have lifesteal.

Fox-Fire: // Ahri releases three fox-fires, which after a short delay lock on and attack nearby enemies. Ahri releases three fox-fires. After a short delay they lock on to nearby enemies (prioritizes champions), dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+0.38) magic damage. Additional fox-fires that hit the same target deal 50% damage [max damage: 80/140/200/260/320 (+0.75)]. Cost 60 Mana. Range 800.
Charm: // Ahri blows a kiss dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+0.35) magic damage and charming the first enemy it hits, causing them to walk harmlessly towards her for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second(s).Cost 50/65/80/95/110 Mana. Range 975.
Spirit Rush : // Ahri dashes forward and fires essence bolts at 3 nearby enemies (prioritizes champions), dealing 100/140/180 (+0.3) magic damage. Spirit Rush can be cast up to three times within 10 seconds before going on cooldown. Cost 100 Mana. Range 450.

Well I enjoy getting this not just for the AP and Mana Regen but also for the health. Ahri does not come with a lot of health so this would definitely help a lot when fighting early on against champs and minions.

Sorcerer's Shoes are a must for an AP champs. The magic damage plus the magic penetration adds plenty of extra damage to your abilities.
Hextech Revolver I really love using Hextex Revolver for ahri because it really helps in sustain lane must longer. If you are low on health just slap her org of deception onto the minions and puff a few bars of extra health :D
Rabadon's DeathcapRabaddon's Deathcap is almost a must for every AP. This items gives you most of you ability power so that you can beat down them enemy champs.
