So this is akali as 'pure burst.' Whats good is that you don't need to have the slow from rylai's crystal scepter. Because with buying slow like frozen mallet or rylai's crystal scepter is that it does nothing for damage or health. You're paying an awful lot of money just to slow people down, where as paying the same amount of money you can get 180 AP from rabadens for damage, or 1400 health from warmogs or an infinite edge. Buying slow is costly, please try to find other means of getting kills before buying into slow. In fact put more money into movment speed as it is a lot more tactical and gives you chances to escape as well as kill. Also with lower health it means that the heals from spellvamp and lifesteal are more effective. Plus with zonyas hourglass' passive, if used right, can save your life many, many times. Especially if there is a pesky karthus on the enemy's team who tries to get you with reqium. Hourglass is highly unappreciated and in my opinion is one of the best items in the game in the hands of a pro. With 'pure burst' the enemies will be downed before they even have a chance to try and kill you. As well with this build, you can down the first person who has oracle or has natural cloaking detection. Then your safe for the rest of the build. There is no point in giving to many tips as the number one build covers so many and so well. I don't include soulstealer in my build because dying is not a bad thing. FOr example if you take down three champs and die. You have done enough for the team to clean the rest of them up and push for a tower. KILLS DONT WIN GAMES, its good teamwork, map awareness, and sacrificing lives for towers. I cant tell you how many games i have won where the enemy team has 10 plus kills on us and we still win from warding, good teamwork, backdooring and knowing when to die like a pro in order to push through the tower to get to there nexus. As a Pro tanker knowing when to sacrifice urself is one of the most crucial things in the game. Knowing how to die is like knowing how to fall as a pro skateboarder. So get use to it and stop trying to stack kills and bragging about it. It shows everyone that your a NOOB. Instead be a team player you will have a lot more fun.

Maw of Mal Mortius: Frst if your getting powned by casters this is amazing for akali, cause she keeps getting more lifesteal the more she loses health and a magic shield of 400 hp. It takes a bit of the burst away but will keep you a live and bursting a lot longer. With this and hourglass you wont die ever if you know what you are doing.

Abyssal Scepter vs Void Staff: with boots, abyssal and masteries your taking away about 60 magic resist already. Thats more then enough to take out squishies, and tanks cant do **** to you cause you'll be healing more then they can damage you. So you will be killing them anyway.
