Summoner Spells: from 5 to highly recommend or low as 1 to don't recommend
(5)Flash- will help you escape or catch up to kill your enemy for both offense and defensive terms, in which case you can use to flash to another lane or side and quickly escape. Dodge grabs form clank or Dr.mundo's throw or ash'es frost arrow shot.
(4)Heal- Self-healing purposes in emergencies or to support teammates to prevent dieing
(4)Cleanse- Removes self- slow effects/fears/silence/immobilizes/etc for 3 secs+ a utility to escape or finish off a opponent
(3)Exhaust- catching up to enemies faster and dealing finishing blow
(3)Sprint- catch up to enemy or to run away
Early Game:
Summoner spells chosen and why:
FLASH-I always use this to usually run away from a enemy when i do get ambush or chased down by two units and my twilight veil is on cooldown. however if I know there is no others witing for ambush I rarely use it to quickly dash in to get a kill in.
CLEANSE-Bets thing to use when your being immobilize down,in which case any holds or slows form ryze, morgana,,kassis, tyrn, etc will prevent you being killed if you need to run, or to contiue chasing them or feared from fiddle(nobody likes his crowstorm ambush+fear :P )
First item goes to Long sword for ability vamp, its very little, but it helps keep you alive.
First point goes into twilight veil for survival to outlast your enemy use this to get to your enemies or if you get to low on health and need that small spot to escape.
Never stand in the Middle of the circle of a twilight veil, stand on the outer circle where you think your enemy might hit for, (kog'maw, morgana, vladmir, cho'gath, etc).
2nd level provides mark of assassin, this is where you are now effectively will be able to heal and be able to twilight veil to your enemy, then mark of assassin then attack them for a nice chunk of health. This is a very nice harassment to enemy lanes for you to gain advantage of,however if your against a range user be cautious of crowd control form morgana with her immobilize hold+AoE dot,if this happens, use cleanse!
Realize Akali is not a very potent ganker early games, she is still very squishy, but has great utility.
Mid Game:When you hit level 6 your first point immediately goes to shadow dance, This is the most useful ability to use to gank a enemy, reach and hit,or to run away from.Starting from here you to gank and kill much more effectively, providing you have decent amount of ability power. when you go in for a kill be always sure to have 3 charges up, 2 to attack and catch an enemy if he runs away, and save your last 1 to run away from a enemy in case your attack backfires, remember you can target minions or crepes to dash away from!
Akali combo :R(dash to enemy)Q(mark of assassin)W(veil where the enemy will run to)E(clash) to do extra damage in regards (R>Q>W>E).
Late game:if you have substantiated stacks of occult and soulstealer you should have very high stats to gank any squish easily, but still be cautious of crowd control, its usually best to wait away from big 5v5 combat then dash in mid to finish up the kills.
Last words~
general rule still applies:use one shadow dance to ambush to your target, 1 to hit if they keep running, and save a 3rd to run away.
