This is my ap akali build.

It is meant for huge dmg bursts and to eliminate squishies with ease.

Pros: Huge burst
1v1 murkage
great pushing after lichs
Good escape mechanisms

Cons: Often targeted
squishy
squishy
VERY SQUISHY

So you aren't going to be able to take on a whole team with this build. Your job here is to jump in once your team has initiated and deliver a clean up or even better take out the squishies hanging in the back. You do not want to hit tanks as Magic Resist will really screw with your dmg out put.

Early Game: So in early game you want to pick up a long sword in order to get your spell vamp from your passive. It is key especially since you won't be picking up hextech until later. You want to get minion kills with your Q skill and if you see an opportunity harrass a bit. What you want to do for skill order is put shroud down in the middle of the opposing creeps amd if the other team gets to close use the q skill followed by the E. This won't do massive dmg early but it will help establish a dominance in the lane.
As soon as possible you want to go back and pick up hextech revolver and boots.
Once you reach level 6 that's when you start to do some real damage. your skill order should now go Q-R-auto-W-E if they are trying to get away repeat or maybe use your ult again instead of W.

Following this cycle you should be able to wittle your opponent to nothing fairly rapidly.

One thing though you must be careful of when playing as akali is ganks. Throw down you W and try to Juke you enemies out if the get oracle well that's what ghost and flash are for (and chasing)

I have left one spot open in my items (as you will not be keeping long sword after hextech). This is to be used at your own discretion. I tend not to make it that far into games but if i do I like void staff for penetration or abysmal scepter if they have a lot of ap
