Hey, a little, fast and easy introduction to Akali is that she isn't very hard to play at all. although she gets hit pretty hard, she still can end up, pushing through the damage to do the burst that she was meant to do.

Pros- Massive burst damage.
Easy kills.
Fast getaway's.
Fast overall.
Easy to learn!

Cons- Squishy throughout the whole game.
Targeted pretty hard.

Masteries are pretty basic, flat out ability power and I always throw in that extra life steal just to be sure. On the defense side of things, i went mostly armor for Akali because of the fact that she gets focused on while on that first team fight up top.

I use flash and exhaust because Akali is a very good champion that isn't very easy to get away from, therefore, for the just in case matters, exhaust can be useful for both, offence and defense.

Mostly the only thing you have to keep in mind about Akali is that you need to be wary of the enemy team. Don't fall into lours or traps, and learn to only go into a fight if you know you can win. You are gonna be hated on the battlefield towards the more squishy champions and you will be helpful on the heavy armor guys. Just always remember to not go into a fight that you know your gonna lose. Your also gonna want to stack AP for her passives and for what it does with her abilities. To get those passives up and running, you will need 20 bonus AP and 10 bonus AD.

A quick summary is that if you follow this guide you can most likely always have a 2-1 KD most of the match. If you get into any kind of stun trouble, I reccomend that you grab a Guardian's Angel, so that you can get back up after taking that devestating death, because 9 times out of 10, your target is near death whenever they kill you.

All in all, i definatly reccomend Akali, she is a very good champ all around for dominion!
