This build for Yi is the one I use. I usually end a game with near 30 kills and very few deaths. This guide is strictly for the benefit of the viewers. It is a very basic build, but it hits high and your champion is very difficult to beat once this build is complete.

Runes are entirely your choice as in game items are all you truly need since Yi is already a powerful Champion. Personally I use all attack speed runes just to increase my chances of winning in the beginning.

The masteries I include in this guide are the ones I use. I use very little in anything but utility. For lower levels I suggest focusing all your points in Utility for the simple purpose of decreased cool downs and increased experience. The rest if your are higher level should go towards attack to increase damage in Crit.

At first I recommend getting boots of speed. This should be upgraded to berserker's greaves as soon as possible as to increase your attack speed very soon in the game to increase your chances of advancing farther. Next focus everything on building phantom dancer afterwards. After that push for infinity edge. After infinity edge grab a blood thirster. Once you have that i strongly recommend the black cleaver and Stark's fervor. This build creates a very fast and fast hitting crit strike build for Yi.

For skills start with wuju style. Max that out second. Second get Alpha strike and max that out first. At levels six eleven and sixteen get your ultimate. Then get meditate last as it doesn't really do much good in the heat of battle.

My common spell set is Flash and ignite. Reasons for this are very simple really. Flash to get out of tough situations and ignite to kill enemies when you have no other choice.

The only summary needed is this build is nearly instant death to any champion you come across.

The biggest con is that there is no defense. The massive crit and life steal makes up for the lack of defense though.

With this build completely maxed out no creep can stand against Yi. Not even the Mighty Bsron himself.

Farming is very easy with this build. Just use alpha strike on minions and it will kill them instantly thus gaining gold. With your masteries your cool downs should be very fast so just keep using alpha strike to farm.
