The build's actually different enough to warrant having its own page. The "guide" section itself is clearly different as well.

That is the build I used for a long time, and that's the build mine is insipired off of, which I feel is an improvement if you want to focus on some things that are weak in Ammumu: TMM

My advice - remove Warmog's and Shurelya's from the main item list and put them under situational items, since they're not very good in most scenarios.

The only item I don't agree with is Warmog's Armor. You're a bit lacking in terms of overall defense, so it's too early to start stacking health. Consider turning that Heart of Gold into a Randuin's Omen. Also consider Aegis of the Legion and Abyssal Scepter.

Try going Flash+Exhaust instead of Flash+Cleanse. Amumu isn't a carry, and won't be dealing a lot of damage in a team fight. Therefore it may be a better idea to get Exhaust simply because you can shut down their carries while not really worrying about any CC on yourself.

Good guide though. +1

Thanks for the +1.
Now I do agree with you that I do need to change the heart of gold into randuins armor I always do it but just do it without thinking haha. Will fix that.
Eh, I do think I need to grab Warmog's to compensate for the armor. Where one gets it is where it matters though.

Actually.. I do agree with avoiding the dodge mastery now that you mention it. If only because that I play WoW and the way you worded it.. makes me feel like getting the dodge would be equivalent to putting some intellect gear on a feral druid so he can self-heal more. I don't focus on dodge with mumu through runes or gear so the little bit I'd grab from a mastery with that talent seems a waste.

I don't agree with Defensive mastery though because as I said, minions hardly are a concern ever. Maybe a smidgen early game, but it's not enough to justify wasting two points.

Thank you for agreeing with me on the dodge mastery :]
And I do agree with you on the minion portion.
I think I will change that.
Thanks!

All your other talents I basically agree with more, although personally I like two points in + experience instead of expanded mind, but that's all a matter of preferance to me.

Your runes are also good, and I should probably take fortitude quintessences, but my friend was a jerk and combined all my runes on me so I'm playing without any at the moment and still owning, so I feel safe with CD reduction once I get them all back. Again matter of preference.

As far as two of your cons.. slow mover and a goner in 2v1's I have to disagree. I myself have solved the slow mover problem in my own build, and I had to hardly sacrifice anything. Force of Nature/Shurelya's are mandatory in my opinion. I also took Ghost, but that's also a matter of preference. Once I have all my speed pieces one could hardly outrun me/catch me. Also.. 2v1 goner.. I have taken people 3v1 before. Especially with thorn mail, and all the health regen it's quite easy unless there's a fed carry and a lot of cc. It might be true a bit more early game but I do enjoy laning alone when there's an early game jungler on our team and I can play defensively fine against two others.

Everything else you say I agree with and I'll give you my vote. :)

Bandage toss first? This is not smart... you will be about useless in a team fight doing that. You'll lose every 1v1 as well.

I use this build for amumu = http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/amumu-the-misunderstood-mummy-99
and I haven't lost or went negative with amumu since. Using bandage toss is amazing first. Since amumu is a mid-late game character (useless early game) he relies heavily on the partner he's laning with. I usually turret hug for exp. in the beginning, let the opponent push , then stun the opponent near the turret so that my partner can go in for the kill/lots of damage. Bandage toss works well as the first spell if you're not jungling.

I'm going to have to give you a detailed review of this build, but I need to leave my house right now, I'll edit this comment and get back to you in a few hours. I would like to point you to my Amumu build, but once again I changed a few things up yesterday and it works MUCH better so my build is kinda ****py atm.

Actually before I go, the only thing that changed about my build is the items.. I'm going Philo Stone < Ninja Tabi < Force of Nature < Warmog's < Shurelya < Omen < Thornmail. I will sacrifice Thornmail and get Banshee's a bit earlier than I would the Thornmail if I feel it's nessecary. Also I might get the magic resist boots (name escapes me at the moment) if I feel the need instead. Also grabbing Golem whenever I can because my build lacks a bit of mana regen.

Go dispair if you want damage, tantrum if you want mitigation + damage, BT is lowest dps ability to level.

Your build also lacks magic resist. This is bad since Amumu has natural physical mitigation, he has no inherent magic mitigation meaning any good mage is going to put you down quick.

GA is mostly a carry item, not a tank item. Get a Veil or FoN or an abyssal scepter instead.
I literally lol'd when I saw the hourglass...I mean really?

Okay thansk for the input I'll give it a shot! Like I said not the greatest player at the moment and glad to get some feedback :]
