Great guide! I used your build and the other side usually surrenders. If not then it is gg for us!! I can never get as far as getting the warmongs armor. After the sunfire cape either they surrender or the game is over. I jungle mumu every game and gank like a pro lol. Thanks for your words of wisdom =)

Wow this is so in depth, it really helped me with my strategy. Also, I hadn't realized the bandage could go through walls, that's awesome! Thank you for a great guide, the ganking tidbits are perfect.

See I've tried stacking AP on him and although it may make his Despair do more % damage I've found that having more survivability in team fights allows you to help the team a lot more. Also the idea is for you to initiate and if the other team works the way most do they will attack the first enemy that jumps in... you. This gives your team the opening to come in a stomp the enemy team while they later realize that attacking the character with huge hp, armor, mag res, and health regen isn't the brightest idea. :D
But As I have said, throwing a Rylai's crystal sceptor into the build isn't a bad idea either ;)

Great guide! Thought of putting more AP in there for a higher % of hpdamage from despair and direct damage from the others?

Wow this is exactly what I was looking for! I've been searching through guides not liking any of the builds in them and finally I dug deep enough to find this one. You make the best out of his natural abilities and have infused all the abilities of an AP tank into him. Usually I build a Rod of Ages first on my AP tanks but when I tried that on Amumu it didn't work and I began my search. I went 8/5/16 the first game I played using this guide, the game took forever it seemed but as soon as I finished my sunfire cape I really started helping my team. I'm excited to see the new updates.

I know that this guide isn't finished but I figured I would try out this build anyway and it's actually really good! I ended up going 12/4/18 with it on my first try! Thank you for the amazing build!
