Hello and welcome to this Gragas Guide from a pro player with 1 ranked win and 3 losses. Ok im not that pro but i would like to share some of my knowledge to newer players that i feel would've helped me become better earlier. Anyway i am Merodoc from MerodocWeb and i am here to talk about Gragas or how my fellow Honey Badger from MerodocWeb would say Fat Bastard. I play him as a hybrid dealing damage with my huge nuke from barrel, body slam, trinity force and ult. for the record though i am still experimenting with this build and will put in my other one later if it works.

Arpern reds and Armor yellows are compulsory for this jungle route but the quints and blues are choose i just enjoy the ap per level as it gives me more ap earlier by level 6 they are better than flats and these help gragas's powerful post 6 ganking and get arpen quints to make taking out golem easier after the first run

0/21/9 i find good as they allow a safer jungle as well as more defense late game and some good ap from ardor. Awareness is pretty much compulsory for a jungler so keep that. (also these are the masteries stonewall uses cept maybe ardor)

A lot of the items in this build are situational if wanted you can use wriggles i personally dont as i enjoy the earlier ganking power. first get a trinity i personally start with phage but if want nuke earlier feel free to go for a sheen. after that i normally get a defensive ad item like a hexdrinker or atmas (or thirster for more damage) next a defense item like fon or thornmail or aegis just whatever you want really before a gunblade and rabadons.
Build 2 utilises the cdr spirit visage build into hybrid with a little less defense but the extra health from happy hour and the ability to have a permanant drunken rage help make up for this. in this build. be aware this build is in testing and may suck so dont take this for granted. this build is a lot less situational as spirit visage is a must and i normally take it as my only defensive item till last item. start with a longsword and do your jungle run try to gank asap. if you have the money from a few ganks or just want more damage feel free to get the brutalizer or loongsword but normally i would buy boots then get the brutaliser or boots. then spirit visage, finish youmuus, get ionian boots, hextech, lichbane and a defensive item of choice

i take smite because im a jungler and naturally smite is impotant and i take exhaust for good ganking power and a good way to help shutdown carries (which i find is gragas main job) but flash or ghost are both good choices. everything else except maybe ignite isn't really worth it.

for jungling i start at wraiths smiting the big one then wolves, golems and then b and get boots then just clear jungle normally. just remember that early ganks are good and worth going for. when it comes to counter jungling you are hard to kill and do a lot of damage, with exhaust feel free to go hunt down the enemy jungler and kill him also you are great at escaping through walls and then returning to finish them off by double backing.
