i usually take Ignite with flash, but an argument can be made for either Barrier or Cleanse too. the reason for this is that ignite and barrier both have very low cooldowns, meaning you'll get a lot of use out of them even while waiting for spellbooks cooldown. It'll also mean less time waiting for your base spells to come back up.

compare this to, say.... teleport. if you run teleport, you get 1 use out of it in almost the time it would take to get 2 spell swaps. meanwhile, with the low cooldown of ignite, you're practically guaranteed a use of it at least once between every single swap. i hope that makes sense the way i explained it?

as for WHEN to go spellbook... honestly it's up to you. for me personally, it's actually been my go to page as of late, as im someone who very much enjoys flexibility (that's part of the reason i love Anivia So much to begin with lol). if you aren't quite use to using spellbook yet, id say run Comet on matchups you aren't confident in, and Spellbook in matchups you ARE confident in.

also, i ALWAYS run spellbook if you take Anivia as a support pick. the added utility you can bring to the support role with all your CC and spellbook is just way too good to pass up.
