Annie is one of A LOT heavy nukers. Once her burst is done, she cant do **** anymore. In this build I will make sure you dont have to do more.

Skills and Skill Order

: Pyromania: After casting 5 spells, Annie's next spell will stun the target for 1.75 seconds.

: Disintegrate: Annie hurls a mana infused fireball, dealing 90/130/170/215/260 (+0.6) magic damage and refunding the mana cost if it destroys the target.

: Incinerate: Annie casts a cone of fire dealing 85/145/205/265/325 (+0.6) magic damage to all enemy targets in the area.

: Molten Shield: Places a shield around Annie for 15 seconds, increasing her armor and magic resistance by 10/20/30/40/50. Deals 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.2) magic damage to enemies who attack Annie with melee attacks.

: Summon: Tibbers: Annie wills her bear Tibbers to life, dealing damage to units in the area. Tibbers can attack and also burns enemies that stand near him. Deals 200/325/450 (+0.7) magic damage to units in the target area and summons Annie's bear, Tibbers, to destroy her enemies. Tibbers has 1200/1600/2000 health and 80/105/130 attack damage, and continually deals magic damage to surrounding enemies.

In my honest opinion I think Disintegrate is a better option than Incinerate, mainly because its a reliable stun, heatseeking skill. You CAN actually miss your incinerate.
And well yeah, Molten Shield. I guess every champion needs a useless skill?'

Item Build
The core item build is as follows:

When the game starts the first items you take are:

If you can take mid, do it. Its the best option for Annie.
Please be a little defensive on Annie in mid, she may be strong but there are a lot of champions who own her 1 on 1 when shes under level 6.

The first time you go back (without kill) take this with you (you should have enough farm):

If its a hard match in mid DONT get the amplifying tome, instead get catalyst:.

You can always get Mejai's later on in the game.
As suggested in the comments I will give a replacement for mejais if the game doesnt run this smooth. I suggest using Haunting Guise or Void Staff.

The first time you go back (with kill) take this with you (If you got a kill, that means you dominate your lane. In this occasion you can get mejais and hope you can stack it in early game.):

The second time you go back make sure you have enough money for boots upgrade AND mejais upgrade (if you didnt have the kill early game):

At this point, most of the teamfights start. At this moment you cant decide yourself when you can go back to get items. You either HAVE to back because you took a lot of damage, or you won a teamfight and got some gold. Also, please make sure you get Rod of Ages before the 28 minute mark.


Offensive Tree:
You have to rush to Archaic Knowledge. This is the best choice for EVERY spellcaster, no doubt. The best way to do this is to get 3 points in Archmage's Savvy and 1 point to whatever you wish. Then ofcourse 4 points in the cooldown reduction.
You got 21 points left now. Its up to you if you want to play defensive, or with utility. I like to play Annie with utility masteries so I went for it. (Extra XP, Extra Mana (regen), Extra speed, Flash upgrade, etc.)


9x Magic Pen - Annies ratios arent the best in game. And magic pen obviously outclasses ability power in this part of the page. Thats why Magic Pen is the best option for red (for pretty much every caster).

9x Mana Regen - If you screw up last hits with Disintegrate on Annie, this doesnt regen fast enough. Thats why I chose for Mana Regen in yellow. You can pick ap/level here if you like, its just the way you like to play it.

9x Ability Power/Level - Casters need AP, Annie is a caster, these runes are caster-related. Nuff said.

3x Health@1 Quints - I like to play Annie with a little bit of health early game, this is why I chose this option. Its also an option to go for AP/Level or flat AP or even Magic Pen. Your decision.


Early game:
Early game you have to make sure you get last hits by using your Q ability. This replenishes your mana if you lasthit with it. Annies spells cost a lot of mana, please dont try to harass the enemy with your spells UNLESS you got a weak/low base HP enemy against you. However, you should only harass him with Q and W when you got your stun ready so he cant run away from your W. Once you hit 6 you can either combo him to death (from full HP to 0, make sure you have enough mana) By starting your stun with Q (Since its only 1 target, and this is the most reliable stun) then throw W on it. If you think you can kill the guy throw a tibbers at him and use ignite. (remember what you got Flash for)
That should do it.
If you harassed the guy all game long, you dont even have to do that much trouble and can just tibbers/q/ignite and hes dead.

Mid Game:
Most of the time there is a turret down right about now at the sidelanes. This means 90% of the people playing this game will come to mid. This means you WILL get ganked by the lane who lost/killed a turret. Please stay safe untill you're certain where they are.
Right about now, you do not stun with Q anymore. You need to AOE stun in order to safe/help your team better. ALWAYS focus the squishy one without flash/cleanse/flashy skill.
Remember: YOU WILL BE FOCUSSED. Dont be up front, either get from the back (where their squishies are) or be a little bit later.

End Game:
Right about now if youre fed you should be at least level 16 and have about 500 AP. If youre not fed but got to last hit alot, you should be around 300-350 AP. If you didnt even farm, please pick another champion. If you are a real threat to the enemy team they will focus you down. Try to make sure you got tibbers off and even some other skills (incl Ignite).
