Could you please explain why you think that? I want an honest opinion, because I want to improve this guide in any way i can. Thanks for the input.
I really hope more people try out this build and post pics or vids, would be great to see how badly it butt hurt the enemies haha.
And thanks so much for the credits man, I feel honored for that. AP Kennen just dominates early game so I try my best to focus on that period and end it early. I think I'm gonna add a section about team composition (good teammates) in my guide... in case anyone pops by to look at mines, I'm gonna mention your guide for that section!
I have considered Garen for your build but then I rethought it for a few reasons:
Cons...
- 1 AOE with no CC, just good damage
- To be effective on the team, will be a carry build and rely heavily on team since he will not be as tanky unless you go "hybrid"
- Mainly single-target based character (even Tiamat won't help much unless his AD is super high)
Pros...
- 2nd semi/main tank in the build
- Awesome finisher and silence which will cripple the enemies
Well that's just my opinion, don't get me wrong, I find him a great hero.
I just thought that Xin > Garen because Xin has 2 AOEs with a slow and single-stun + % Ulti + Great hybrid DPS/tank capability, Garen will have less flexibility for being a DPS IMO (No DPS timed buffs such as AD, AS, etc. for 5-10 secs, just tanky buffs).
In any case, I think Garen is a considerable choice, just not as "team-synced" as other heroes.
Oh, and your name is mentioned if you scroll down a bit, right below the guides I used.
I was thinking: though I probably wouldn't replace Kog'maw, how would Garen be in terms of AoE? He has his mega-awesome spin, and the silence rocks the house. I'm also a fan of heavy-duty characters, so I think with a Tiamat he could be doing some heavy AoE DPS.
Then I really encourage AP Kennen for a "R" finisher, the others were just to throw in some mixes. But really, I think this build is actually superb in its own.
Thank you for commenting and rate on my guide by the way.
Now about your second build...
Not much except that it's really, really, really, mind BLASTING.
That is a balanced, flexible, and dominating team if played correctly.
Galio - Solid choice, solid hero
MF - Good DPS with nice AOE skills
GP - MASSSIVE crit and hurting AOE, what more do you need?
Anivia - Dominainting mid game hero, although requires practice, maybe if Anivia is too hard for some, switch her out with Fiddle/Morgana?
Kogmaw - Hahaha, yes the absolute destroyer. Good choice! *cough*nerf*cough*
I would thumbs up again if I could.
Vlad: His ult is fantastic, and has a non-ult AoE, but his ult doesn't have a massive range. No CC on any of his skills, except with a Rylai's.
Kogmaw: He has an AoE slow, and a good AoE barrage with the Tiamat. A good all-around choice, and especially devastating to tanks.
Twitch: His ult is great, and definitely qualifies as AoE, but MF can do his job better in terms of AoE CC.
Xin Zhao: He has a toss-up, a slow, and an AoE ult, but his ult is a very small range and I don't see it dominating in a team fight like the other champions do.
Tryndamere: I'm not a fan of Tryndamere to be honest. There are better options.
Soraka: I much prefer Sona over Soraka in terms of support.
Miss Fortune: A perfect choice! Her AoE slow, and an AoE slow ult. The only reason I didn't put her in my build was because I didn't consider her right off the bat.
I'm not going to replace fiddlesticks because I value his ult and his fear dominates. His drain was recently buffed so now he is even better than before. I will, however, create a secondary team based off of a few of your suggestions.
- Have you considered using Kennen with a full AP build? AP Kennen is a beast, very cooldown dependent but absolutely destroys carries.
- You have 4 AP chars (1 potential DPS, but considering you take my above statement into account), why not replace Fiddlestick, you have plenty of disables and AP that hurt. Suggestions? Vladamire (AP but he is semi-tank + his Ulti increases dmg by extra 18%!), Kogmaw (AP works, but a DPS + Tiamat = GG, I've tested it with a friend many times), Twitch (Good positioning required), Xin Zhao (Semi-tank, initiator, decent DPS), Tryndamere (Same as Twitch but your team will be disabling all of them anyways, Tryndamere is critting dummies), Soraka (Support, cool ulti), Miss Fortune (Excellent DPS, 2 AOE skills)
- I know you may want a burst CC team, but those heroes fit perfectly into the teams, gives you a balance of roles. There are others I can suggest to replace Fiddle but I think the rest are good. Kennen + Amumu + Morgana destroys all carries.
Kennen Love.
