I seem to never win a match, always around 4 kills and 8 deaths.
When i saw blitzcrank i played. first game was an 13 kills and 2 deaths game.

Follow this build and see if you have the succes with Blitz liie i do

Pros
CC is mad.
Good passive
Rocket grab is OP
Fun
Cons.
Requires some skill to use Q(rocket grab)
Mana runs dry quick early game
Requires patience

Runes are full for AP. this is mainly for agressive blitz. if you play more defensive you should pick more armor runes.

The masteries are like the runes more personal. if you like to play safe take more defensives.
if agressive take full AP.

The skills are used in the paticualr fashion cause of effectiveness.

With Q(rocket grab) You pull the enemy towards you.
Then use E(power fist) To smack him up in the air.
At last use W(overdrive) To maximize damage output.
If your target is running away use R(static field) To finish him off.

Why ghost and ignite?
Flash and ignite is not good at all.
When using ghost u get with our masteries 35% movementspeed.
It is mainly effective to clase the bigger gaps flash can't do.
Ghost is also useful with W(overdrive) to run very quick into a team battle at far.

Very important.
Use R(Static field) to mass kill minions.
When a huge minion cluster(20+) is at (example)Top.
you will walk into the minion wave and use R(static field) and gain lots of xp and money

Afterall Blitz is a champ that requires a bit of practice but when understood one of the best in teamwork. overall i rate blitz a 9/10 because its so good in team fights.
why it is not a 10? because of HEAVY mana usage early game.
