good build but no nashtor's tooth? maybe put it in the optional item corner since it's a great item for teemo.

Doran's shield isn't too good an item for me. In most cases, a Doran's Ring or a Amplifying tome would be better for more damage earlier on.

Try test out blinding dart as 1st skill. I realised in comparison Blinding Dart > Toxic shot in early 2v2s or 5v5s :) (Yes they do happen if you like stealing their blue)

Your 6th item (Replacing Doran's Shield) should be imput. Some games may need more than just 5 max items.

Malady isn't a good item on AP teemo, and it is definitely not a good end game item. Most AP teemos usually build pure AP all the way, to maximize the use of their mushrooms instead of proving slightly more useful in teamfights.

You may want to take something like Deathfire Grasp. It has an active to be one of your skills in your aresenal, and it can be cheaper than Malady (5gold per 10 from Kage). It is definitely better in laning power (Your mush damages more, so stepping into the bush isn't a good option) as well as teamfights (Hitting them won't do much damage, but blasting once before nuking works well)

Take note : Blinding Dart resets your attack timer. So, normal attacking before blinding dart gives another attack. This works especially well for AS, but for AP teemo it works decently, especially in early game.

I've usually gone pure ap item's as ap teemo, but the change to malady or nashor has made me a battle mage with the use of your build I feel more freely to go into combat and not feel useless after blinding dart! ty +rep

Like deathalo44 said I would rather go Doran's Ring or Ampifying Tome for AP, and just in case your doing pretty ****py (in that small chance:D) I would rather build a Nashor Tooth instead Mejai's Soulstealer just for the extra umph but yet again you can go full AP to maximize your mushrooms power. But otherwise great job!!:D+1

Yeah, I've started using a shield for the off chance I might get into a defensive state for the regen still being there and not having to back since all doran items give the well needed health at early game. Also the Nashor Tooth is highly viable I've just used a Malady instead currently if the team is a bit beefy w/ MR to keep my poison flowing throughly and shrooms that they get kited into hurt like a boss :D. But Nashor Tooth is a item I enjoy very much since early game MP5 is very needed for shroom spam along with the CDR.

Yeah I didn't clearly state to sell the doran shield, my apologize , but it was assumed when I had inclined the last situational item.
And for Blinding Dart yeah, I never pick my skill until I reach combat on situational ganks and etc, but for laning I usually use toxic for easier last hitting before lvl 2 were I start to maintain a level of harassment.
Nashor's Tooth was a item I forgot to mention so ty for reminding me it is very much so a complementing item for teemo and I use it on occasion when the enemy isn't too beefy or don't have much MR
OR when I can't get blue because A) another team mate needs it or B) I'm unable to get assistance from our jungler early game to get back into my lane quickly.

And for DFG I don't take it for most cases because I usually kite or initate 80% of the time with a shroom, causing them to drop to 3/4 minimum to half or less depending and DGF is based off current targets health.

I nice guide that only leaves me with 2 questions:
Why don't you focus a bit more on cooldownreduction so you can spam more shrooms and how do you manage your mana without any mana regen items (blue usually goes to ap carry, so it's unlikely Teemo will get it)
