This is not a Troll build. It has been tested in ranked 5's 3's and normal 3's. It is very viable late game because of how much damage the player can soak up and still be able to dish out lots of magic damage and gain lots of health back from the area effects of sunfire cape phoenix stance and thornmail. This build is aldo very viable in jungle, i can clear jungle in about 2 minutes by the time ive made it to the hextech revolver. However, ap udyr can be difficult at first so read the how to carefully and understand the builds flaws and strengths.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT SOLO
Early game can be quite difficult on 3's with udy because his defense is low and he has to be in close peoximity to deal damage. The begginig gank can be difficult unless a good tank is present. If udyr is not focused he can deal around 60 damage to all nearby champions on every strike AND the AOE damage.
Solo Top Lane Early Game
Udyr top lane is easy to play, run into a creap wave and continuously phoenix stance and turtle stance for a shiled and health regen. However be warey of champs, you cant deal that much damage until lvl 3, at that point open with bear stance then switch to phoenix and ignite and alternate between phoenix and turtle whilst stunning every 3 stnace rotations. This works on most enemys,except garen,and others with a silence, maybe even medium ones, but dot try this against a high hp or magic resist tank. Not yet anyway.
By now mid game constitutes having everything up to the revolver. At this point you can clear lane then jungle and back and forth while adding a bottom lane gank now and then. Its easy to get money without kills because phoenix males it so easy to clear creep waves. As long as the other team isnt mass stacking magic you should be able to 1v1 quite easily by cycling through stances (except tiger) and be able to stay healthy with a shield and spell vamp.
If the game has gone well then you wont have much problem with the other team. Your armor and life steal-spell vamp turtle stance will make you very difficult to kill. If they are mass stacking hp then you can simply sell malady for a madreds bloodrazor and keep dishing out damage. Also at half build you will be able to destroy towers on your own by tutlr stancing and phoenix stancing, if there are enemy mions around, then thats even better, the splash from your ult will also be healing you. Towers will die in about 15 sec.
If they are heavy ap champs then a wits end would best substitute malady and a force of nature to replace thornmail and a spirit visage to substitute sunfie cape. The build is very versatile and the items can be interchanged fo similar items depending on the situation.
Its not always reliable, but its a build thats kinda funny and it will make you laugh how many people get angry or confused at what your doing, its quite entertaining, but difficult to master. Try a few bot matches to get some experience with this build first. HAve fun lighting people on fire.
