So, this is my first guide so this should be interesting. The whole idea of this veigar build is to gain lots of ap, and lots of health so you don't die instantly. whats the point of being able to deal lots of damage with little hp when you can do lots of damage WITH lots of hp. Mana is not an issue as well with this build set up. This is a SOLO MID guide, so keep that in mind when reading. This guide is one if thought about over a long time because it works very well.

Runes are generally play with what you like. I like lots of ap early on so ability power quints with magic pen marks are a must. To counter mana drain, mana regen seals are neccessary with one magic regen glyph to make it an even 4 mana over five. Three magic pen glyphs for an even number with the rest being ap to grant early game power.

A pain to explain, but the usual ap masteries will do. The must is the mana regen however which also helps counter mana drain.

The whole beginning of the game is based on getting items that scale well into late game. If you farm well enough, you should have around the same, if not more than your opposing mid lane. Tear of the goddess is needed to counter your mana so you can spam skills all the time. Rod of Ages works quite well with archangel's staff and gives a nice amount of hp. with the first three items and boots, you should have around 500 AP. with the last three items, you should hit well over 1000 ap. You also aren't squishy at all compared to many other builds, so ad carries takes more than three hits to shred through your hp. by the second hit you should have stunned them and killed them. The last item is really up to you, as it should be situational.

Flash, one of the most usefull spells in the game. Whether you are chasing or escaping, one of the only and most useful spells to veigar. The second one is up to your preferance. Personally, i preffer exhaust over ignite because when your nuking, they should be one shotted anyways. exhaust is alot more effective so they dont escape and/or helping other teamates secure a kill or get away. Another mention is teleport which is decent as you want to stay in lane as long as possible. clarity is a waste of a spell because you will only use it mebe once or twice through out a whole game, or not at all.

Farming as veigar is really easy... just q the minions to kill them. You should ALWAYS play wary to whomever your playing against. Last hitting requires some concentration as timing is essential. Farming your q should be a priority throughout the whole entire game, because those one ap from each minion kill adds up.Pushing isn't a priority or kiting. Only when you think you can kill the opponent should you start kiting. To kill, skill order should be something like this, stun-w-deathfire grasp-q-r. This will kill almost anyone, namely not tanks XD. but anyone else should die easily. The reason why w is first is because of the delay. Deathfire is next because it will hit about half hp if it is used first.

Always farm your q, nuke and gtfo. Get lots of hp cuz you can and are still able to nuke like boss. anyone squishy is a prime target. Veigar is modeled after vivi from final fantasy 9 which makes him that much more awesome! please rate and review, I am up to changing whatever if it sounds better :)
