Hello, Tetrin here. This is my first guide ever, and I hope to see that many Ashe user view, comment, and rate my guide. I've been playing LoL for about 1 and a half years, and one of the first champions I have played with is Ashe. I hope to share my thoughts, opinions, and ideas with you guys on playing Ashe.

These items are based mainly on DPS items that people usually get.

Good

Doran's Blade is a great item to start out with for Ashe, health, damage, and lifesteal, which is what we need to stay in the lane considering the fact that we will not be using health quintessences.

Boots of Swiftness is for chasing and fleeing from enemies, since Ashe is a very slow champion.

Mercury's Treads, in my opinion, shouldn't be used on Ashe, because if you are truly a good carry player, have good teammates, Flash&Ghost, you should not get into any sticky situations. Since Ashe is a squishy champion, if you do get CC'd, you are probably dead.

Infinity Edge is a must on Ashe. RUSH IT.

Last Whisper is also a must, usually, unless you are pubbing, and the enemy team has no tanks whatsoever.

Bloodthirster is a great item on Ashe, AD&Lifesteal.

Black Cleaver if the majority of your opponents is stacking armor(80+).

Madred's Bloodrazor A great item againts tanks/HP stackers(warmogs, etc).

Phantom Dancer Crit Chance, Attack Speed, Movement Speed. An all around item for Ashe.

Bad

Youumuu's Ghostblade You are fast, good at chasing, fleeing, and the attack speed is nothing. Armor penetration? Black Cleaver and Last Whisper. nuff' said.

Pros

Great damage if built correctly
Great Chaser
Amazing Ultimate
Ability to Scout
Great mid-late game farm.

Cons

Squishy, as all carries are.
Will be targetted
Hard to farm early game

Do

Do try to get kills early game, meaning KS from tanks and supports if needed.
Do learn to last hit properly.
Do save teammates with your ult.

Don't

Don't use your ultimate to last hit champions unless they are out of reach to die.
Don't kill/dive for a kill and die yourself, simply because you are the carry and dying leaves your team with less output damage.
Don't auto attack minions early game at mid. No point, pushing leads to ganking, and auto-attacking leads to bad creep score
Don't shoot your ultimate at random people, out of nowhere, such as shooting a full health Tryndamere farming when nobody else is around to gank.
