Aatrox is commonly a hard to kill bruiser champion. This can be fun to play but what I find far more fun is one tapping enemies whilst being hard to kill. Aatrox is well suited to building damage as his whole kit centres around AD and building letality amplifies this damage. A quick warning building Assassin Aatrox against tank will lead to an almost certain loss as it is very difficult to kill them I recomend building the regular Aatrox build in these circumstances

For the early levels aim to, if possible, get an early kill as this will lead to a quick snowball if you continue to pressure your opponent. Against hard matchups like Darius play safe and wait for your jungle to come and help you
