Also have you considered getting an Aegis second? That has one of the best auras out there, and helps you to tank, which is kinda what Alistar is for.

I love the idea of Aurastar. I'm trying him out myself right now, and I think he looks promising! +1!

i think its good good but take out rod of ages and get innervating locket

mh.... good idea but I always have no mana... at lvl 18 still finish mana in teamfight (and RoA its useless late)

For the start I think u can start with mana manipulator (no potion) and spam roar for heal, ur lane partner say thx for that

Ghost and flash are the best for the slow Alistar

Tank only with Unbreakable Will? yes, Ultimate does really all that for him (for 8 second)
